In a recent newspaper column, Eddie put the boot in, saying the hype and build up for Fury/Chisora 2 was lukewarm at best, badly managed, and not really convincing. I think he hit the nail on the head there. It did not catch the public's attention like Fwank hoped it would.

Let's be honest, there has to be a fair chance this rematch does not happen. I'm sure the promoter is desperate for it to happen, but its like the fight is jinxed. If Chisora hadn't pulled out, presumably Tyson would have withdrawn on the Thursday anyway.

I suppose the promoter needs something to work on, and something to stage. Delboy is the WBO number one anyway, he could fight Pianetta or Hammer, defend his European belt, and get the WBO to rubberstamp it as a final eliminator as they're in the rankings too. Thinking about it, Fwank really doesn't have many big main event options in the foreseeable future. I hope this fight comes off, but I am not surprised folk are jaded and disillusioned by it.

you'd have to be very dim to get excited about this now.

Well I for one got a refund. I'm sure many others did, too.

I hope Liam Walsh gets a decent fight on this card.

As long as a Walsh fight isn't announced as being part of the show at this point in time - with several months to go to fightnight - then I think its got every chance of ending up on the bill.

Let's be honest it weren't Cooper-Ali or Holyfield-Tyson.....if they couldn't pull it off the first time I'm not super confident they can a second.

If all involved thought the initial proposed rematch was welcomed with rolled eyes and shrugged shoulders then this one will go down like a knackered lift

Wonder if it get's cancelled again ? I just can't see any huge demand for the fight anymore, even if there was a brilliant undercard tickets will be hard to shift

I would imagine Frank will put all his top ticket sellers on the undercard like Buglioni, mitchel smith and Keane etc

OK, perhaps they tried to hype Fury vs Chisora into something it wasn't, tried to sell it as a rematch that had to happen and made a bit of an embarrassing sideshow of the build up.

But make no mistake, this is a big fight. We have the 2 best active British heavyweights, both likely to appear in far better shape than they did first time round, both more experienced than the relative novices that faced each other first time round.

Tyson is ranked WBC-10, WBA-12, WBO-4 & IBF-5
Chisora is ranked WBC-7, WBA-8, WBO-1 & IBF-3

They are both potentially a couple fights from world title shots and the fight is for the European and British titles
Both men have provided entertaining fights over the years and both are on good winning runs.

Don't lets the fact that this got a bit of silly hype distract from the fact that this is a fight worth watching
Genuine boxing fans saying they won't watch it is silly, are we going to boycott or something?

When all's said and done, if Chisora is in shape it's a good fight! I mean, heck, even when Chisora was fat as feck, it made for good viewing.

Since when was a well matched, competitive fight not good enough? Does it have to be a genuine grudge match to make it interesting for you?

He got smashed by one top level heavy who is a big one shot hitter.
