I got put on the council's noise register for a year and my neighbour given a noise meter after going ape watching Hamed/Kelly live. My neighbour was a monumental bellend though.

Good fight I'm glad Brook won it, he's a very good fighter and seems a really decent man

Brook won 7/5 on my card and that is with giving Porter all the rounds I marked as close.
I didn't give them all Porter though so Kell won fairly clearly on my card

Some people were born to moan mate. I'm glad too, great to see Kell finally arrive where he belongs.

Dave Parris didn't want to take sides..

Brook deserved it. Against a better boxer, Brook will actually look better himself. I got quite frustrated with the lack of technique from Porter at times, Brook far superior in that department and also showed he's just as tough.

Never been so happy to get a fight prediction so wrong. Good lad. Delighted.

I called it wrong pre fight, thought it was very close Porter was using the head a little bit too much but ref did nothing. Kel boxed well but I thought he could of stepped on the gas more tenth round onwards but a wins.a Wins and Porter was hard work. Well done kel !

I had the same feeling after watching that mess this morning. Neither looked likely to be a long reigning champion with that kind of performance.

However I'm starting to think Brook did a pretty good job. Good on him.

well said. bit of a slow-burner with fight after fight at the same level. well done to brook though, wasn't sure he'd have the confidence and positive attitude to do it under pressure, away from home. good to see him finish the stronger, versus a guy who was showing improvement holding a world title. roll on, superfight with khan. would be daft not to. welterweight is a division for big money & event fights. they don't like each other and it will be fascinating to see 2 of Britain's speediest operators on a big stage.

similar topic and Jimmy Mac and Ian can attest to this, I used to hold boxing parties for my mates when a big fight was on, this usually entailed either going to a fight or watching a big fight on ppv. One particular case of the latter - few beers up the pub back to mine slamming house music lots of jumping around and rum! Neighbour came over at 2 pm to ask for the music to be turned off which was done. What he didnt know was 12 blokes then shovelled themselves into my front room to watch Lennox holyfield ii til 6 am screaming ttheir heads off.

my neighbour repliued in kind by doing his DIY against my wall at 630 am for an hour just as i had gone to bed, then going fishing rizpec.

I remember watching Lennox v Vitali in a snooker hall, with about a 100 other people, I got well carried away, and literally leapt out of my seat and shouted 'fornicating chin the pudendum' as Lennox started putting it on him, throwing half my pint over a fairly large section of the audience.

A withering look from the girlfriend followed to which I replied 'this is boxing, I couldn't give a flying fornicate what anyone thinks.'

And yes J, the memory of the long, weary and very painful journeys home from your house have never left me.
