He fought nobodies for ages, turned down world title fights, pulled out of world title fights and it took 4 years and 32 other British fighters between him becoming mandatory and actually fighting for the title. That's without mentioning that the first time someone put him under serious pressure he went to pieces in the second half of the fight. All while we were being told that he's the next big thing, destined to be a star, 'The special one', I don't see how it was possible not to be critical of him. Then afterwards you see fit to attack people who doubted him, maybe not me personally, but as an example, there was no need to have a go at Billy because he thought Kell would lose, especially after he congratulated him.

I think it's fairly likely that expe would have rather Brook lost, he would have loved to have been right about him. As would most who have really gone against Brook on here.

It's the other half not spent on here that's wasted
You and others from Sheffield know Brook and/or his trainers. We had to rely on his fights to show how he would do at top world level. You were right about him and we were wrong,it's that simple. Brook comes across as a decent man and has proved himself at a very high level - before last Saturday he'd not done that.

Weirdly, you're the one coming across as sour and your man won?
Brook has not been above criticism over recent years, that's absolutely correct. I've criticised him before and I'm chuffed that he is now champion. I think a lot of people were worried he'd miss the boat, that's not a personal attack on him is it?

I posted the day of the fight, the day after, yesterday and today. Don't lump me in with donkey, I admitted I was wrong, I just don't like all the I told you so, can't say a single word against him stuff. Take that away and I was delighted when he won, always nice to see one of our lads get one over on a yank, especially in their backyard, shut a few up on CS.
