I think he's quite a good addition - not polished obviously, but gives an honest opinion which is more than can be said for most pundits.

He's got a world title fight tonight. What's wrong with being edgy?

brian13 wrote:I would have serious issues with Mc Donnell if the fight went on longer and O Kane didn't get a point deduction for turning his back.
Both men could have 2 or 3 points taken off, both of them were lunging in with the head, O'Kane was turning his back, Stapulionis was punching round the back of the head, they were wrestling all over the gaff and the point came off for the corner trying to sneak in a bit of work on the cut mid round with McDonnell having none of it. It was hard to start taking points off because if he did the whole thing could have become an even bigger mess, it was heading towards both men being disqualified.

I just find him a bit raw I think. Honesty is always good though.

Been a nice change not to have to suffer KevBev making a pudendum of the announcements. Craig Stephen's doing a decent job. No Buffer but doing a solid job.

You know the boxing is a bit cock when you start assessing the MC....

IMO It's a pretty thin chief supporting fight for 16000 paying customers and a card being televised in a number of territories.

They don't have a huge stable and the two at the top of the bill will be on a fairly big load of money so it's just the way it has to be I think.

Surely the ref should have taken him to the doctor and not the corner?

Then again this is AWFUL from the ref and the fighters. Entertaining but not boxing
Alright BP, are you going to watch Estrada - Segura tonight?

They could have done better than this though, it's a featherweight fighting a blown up flyweight who's nearly a decade past his best and has spent most of the last 5 years in retirement. They had the option to put Stephen Ormond on there and didn't bother.

Eamonn Holmes getting a few boos and whistles for some reason. No idea why he would be a target for boos.

As long as they don't successfully chant for Mary Peters to show us her tits I'll let them off with booing Eamonn....
