No, it is not. Floyd owns a belt at LMW, and GGG is ready to move down to 154. Of course, Floyd is really a WW, but it would be just one weight class difference, and GGG would be weakened by making weight.
P.S. If Huck and GGG met at 175, that would be Huck's last fight. If GGG and Kovalev met at 168, I would not want to be in Kovalev's skin. If Ward and GGG met at 165, I would confidently put money on GGG.
Floyd began at super feather- he's already jumped up a bunch of weight classes and is in the twilight of his career. GGG began at middleweight and is still there.
Still comparing weights between pbf/ggg vs ggg/huck is stretching it a bit, dont you think ?
And how old was floyd going pro at superfeather, how old was ggg starting pro and at what weight ?

No way Floyd would take this and if he did he would be stopped at both 160lbs and 154lbs in my opinion.
If I were Mayweather my final two fights would be Khan and then Pacman. They are the two most lucrative fights he could take next year and I think he'd stop Khan and beat Pacman fairly easily on points. Why go in with Golovkin for much less money than he could generate in the fights I have named.

If Floyd is 49-0 after the two fights, it is hard to imagine him not trying to make it 50-0. That last fight would also be against a softer opponent. Mayweather vs Golovkin is not gonna happen.

What's the point. If Floyd comes up and beats Cotto at MW, then I'll call for this. Until then, or GGG drops to 154 what's the point.

I assumed it's 154 as that's the weight GGG says he can make and Floyd just defended the 154 title
along with his welter strap against Maidana

I'm not really sure it matters that much what weight they fought at. If these two ever get in the same ring together there is only one winner unless Golovkin is weight drained to the extent that he can barely lift an arm and if that was the case he'd have to be a complete loony to take the fight in that condition.
At any weight they fought Golovkin beats Mayweather.

I would say at 152 or under, Floyd's chances grow sharply.

GGG should be looking at guys closer to his own natural weight because there is no chance he will get a Floyd fight. Since Andrade will be fighting at 160 now and hopefully stays there, it would be fun to watch. GGG vs Canelo would be a good sell too.
Other than that, GGG vs Ward would be ppv worthy, even though neither is a big draw.

Totally agree.
Other than that, GGG vs Ward would be ppv worthy, even though neither is a big draw.
Golovkin shows signs of being a good draw in California, so he and Ward could be worth making, but I think that at this time their fight is not PPV worthy.
