Green is a B-level fighter who will be remembered for losing to Mundine,being involved in the worlds most boring title fight(Drews)beating the shell of RJJ and being in the worlds most blatant fixed fight(Briggs)where he cowered to criminals the next day after he said Briggs dogged it. Nothing he said was wrong, Green did very well for himself but without the Mundine rivalry he wouldn't have been able to do any of his biggest fights or cherry pick a LHW title. There were better fighters around their time from Australia than Green and one being Katsidis was IMO more exciting to watch and arguably a better fighter, he fought better fighters than Green but who in Australia knows him? If you don't think that is a direct result of the rivalry with Mundine when he became Australia's 'good guy' then you're blind.

Good summary. What people seem to conveniently forget is BOTH were engaged in big fights. It wasn't just the Mundine v Green fight that was huge. Green v Jones was a monster fight.

Delusional post. the guy can't stop mentioning Mundine. After losing to the weakest titlist(Beyer)he would of went nowhere without the money he made from Mundine. Why do you think he can't stop mentioning his name? Jealousy get out of here ODLH is one of the richest,respected boxers out there(besides a silly incident on drugs and wearing fishnets). Green is a cherrypicking fraud who fights fighters who are vulnerable(Wlod suicide attempt on anti depressants) Tarver old inactive lost 2 of his last 3 fights in the previous 3 years. And he lost to them Why do you think instead of trying to avenge those losses he is chasing a guy who campaigns in a division 40lb lighter than him?

Green vs RJJ - boxing fans watched it to see RJJ, not Green. Mundine vs Green -p eople watched this fight because Mundine was in it, not to watch Green. Green vs Briggs - there should have been charges laid against Green Machine Promotions for false advertising IMO... Enough said. I cannot believe for 1 second that someone would have the audacity to label Danny Green "the best thing since KT". That's pretty much spitting on Mundine, Katsidis, Geale, Fletcher, Horn, Leapei, Bika, Tomlinson, Zappavigna etc. The list could go on and on!
