Was that guy ok? Horrible to see someone have a fit like that.

I will put Romeo's actions down to his age and the people around him and not comment on him for now. Something I'm sure he will find hard to forgive himself for in later years.

My neck out and say Romeo with the right advice will come good. He is young and got plenty of time to. Progress and iron out his mistakes. As far as him being cocky, yes in the ring he isn't everyone's cup of rosy but outside he's one of the happiest polite respectful kids you'd ever meet. Always a bit smile on his face. The kid has no life away from boxing and lives (literally) in the gym. Suggestions he's on the gear are wide of the mark. He's nowhere near being at the top but give the lad a chance. Everyone makes mistakes and I'm sure looking back he regrets goading the kid who went over

Saw him down the gym this morning.

Romeo had an indifferent time in the amateurs, jumping from club to club with the huge influence and demands of his father allegedly creating difficulties wherever he went. I have heard similar said since he turned pro.

Two wrongs don't make a right but I look forward to someone dancing over him after he gets sparked out!!

I saw him on a IFL tv video at the FW press conference for the Chisora v Fury II press conference.

Is he scheduled on this bill?

Not announced but I think he's on there, apart from Gavin-Skeete and Walsh-Sykes, along with Saunders-Eubank Jr, nothing has been announced, but he's on there, Buglioni, Mitchell Smith WBO European, Lewis Pettitt, Steve Collins Jr, Kean, mostly the usual lot from Fwank's London shows making up the rest of the bill. Wouldn't be surprised to see Collins Jr moved onto the Ormond-Flanagan show 5 days before though, makes more sense with them coming over from Dublin.

He has potential if he does some growing up, works on defense, and is moved along carefully, but it's going to take a lot of work. I'd honestly rather see someone less insufferable succeed.

Fully agree. My other big concern is the total obsessive control his father has over his diet and every aspect of his life. It's one thing to be a concerned and dutiful Dad but this guy seems very controlling in every aspect. He's switched amateur gyms repeatedly whenever they tried to teach Romeo and even in the pros he's already left Spencer Oliver and now trains in Peacock but not by Peacock?
