Were opponents scared of Groves? I thought it was a good win over a good opponent on Saturday. Can't see anyone taking out Rebrasse easily. He took a good shot and was good defensively, closing the range well. It looked like he could fight the Frenchman for 100 rounds and not really physically trouble him.
A little of his aura has vanished now IMO.
Opponents certainly won't be scared of Groves anymore off the bsck of his performances and results in 2014
I'm a big George Groves fan but....

Really needs to go back to booth I believe aswell otherwise I fear we have seen the best of him , he looked sloppy on sat and def lacked his usual snap and power
Re: I'm a big George Groves fan but....
Physically he looked weak to me, on the scales and on the night. I think he'll be moving up soon. Right hand lacked the sharpness and speed it has in the past. I would say it was quite a flat performance. His left hook had nothing on it.
He's got the toughest one out of the way now, the confidence should be back in the next one. Is like to see him being more explosive though as that is his style.

It's been a while since we've heard 'It's a case of whoever lands first'

I think he has developed some bad habits, he does look different compared to when he won the commonwealth belt and when he beat Degale, I don't know if its the world level he is at now and he thinks he has to engage more to prove something but his boxing ability does look slower.
I'm hoping im wrong and this is just a blip because he has a world of potential and it would be a shame to waste it by becoming this would be knock out puncher.
I really hope this WBC title fight gets put off and he looks more towards defending his European title for a short while, Because a George groves coming off 3 convincing European and WBC silver defences (or whatever other titles they decide to add to him from the alphabet soup that is the lesser world titles now) against proven contenders looks a damn sight better than 2 world championship Knock out losses and 1 European title win against a European champion who hadn't reached the world stage yet.
