Whilst I respect you, I don't think it's logical to be OK with a promoter announcing a fight and selling tickets for it when contracts haven't been signed.Terry Dooley wrote:It's not a scandal, it's happened in the past, and not just to one outfit. Has Eubank earned this shot? No. Has he shown any sign of an edge over BJS as a pro? No. Does Eubank need to do what he can to gain an edge? Yes. Hence the delay, which has clearly riled BJS.

What's the fall back option for Eubank Junior? I'm confident about this fight.DMA1987 wrote:Whilst I respect you, I don't think it's logical to be OK with a promoter announcing a fight and selling tickets for it when contracts haven't been signed.Terry Dooley wrote:It's not a scandal, it's happened in the past, and not just to one outfit. Oh, and the Board have issued a statement:
'It's Friday, yous should be all out getting smashed and shagging. That's what we're doing.
Love,
The Board
PS Phwoar'
Tickets shouldn't be sold on a lie. You can be as confident as can be, but until the fight has been signed then it shouldn't be marketed as done. It's beside the point that the fight probably will be made. Anyway, I best go get ready to follow the boards advice.

Speaking of social media, this was posted 10 days ago, wonder if Fwank hacked his account?Terry Dooley wrote:It's not a scandal, it's happened in the past, and not just to one outfit. No contracts signed, but I don't think Eubank can argue that he hadn't agreed to the fight.
Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
Local paper The Argus saying the fight is on and CEJ is signing once his lawyer has ok'd the contract
Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
Thats what Eubank jr tweeted after he didnt turn up to the press conference after a tweet saying that frank had tried rushing it all to try and force him into signing a contract without having his lawyer looking at the contract 1st.tony1234 wrote:Local paper The Argus saying the fight is on and CEJ is signing once his lawyer has ok'd the contract
Still the point is you dont sell tickets to a fight until the contacts are signed its bullshit, its gambling with peoples hard earned money.
Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
Agreed, different a fight falling apart through injury but not acceptable putting out the posters etc when it hasn't been signed yet.Finn wrote:Thats what Eubank jr tweeted after he didnt turn up to the press conference after a tweet saying that frank had tried rushing it all to try and force him into signing a contract without having his lawyer looking at the contract 1st.tony1234 wrote:Local paper The Argus saying the fight is on and CEJ is signing once his lawyer has ok'd the contract

Just watching buncys boxing hour and the shit warren and buncy are coming out with is crazy.
FW is saying he's never announced the fight the EBU did and they were waiting to wednesday to announce it.
Eubank has had the contract for 8 weeks according to FW which is amazing because i was at the fight that BJS called him out and that was exactly 8 weeks ago today i think and on wednesday in the presser they were saying he got the contract the 1st week of this month. Make your mind up frank!!!!!!!
They must think we are fornicating stupid trying to shove propaganda down our throats. Maybe Eubank has bottled it i dont know but quite frankly i dont care now - FW was selling tickets to a fight that wasnt even nearly signed.

Jr is tweeting
'There's no deadline or rushing when it comes to my career. I'll sign once my management team has gone through & ok'd the contract completely'
'allegedly has tried to force me into signing a contract without my lawyers being able to look at it entirely & agree on it.'
This tweet is telling you the fight wont happen
'He scheduled a press conference b4 the contract was even looked at properly to try & rush us into signing & agreeing on terms we don't want.'

Are we saying that's it's just a coincidence that the two British boxers who do most to bring British boxing into disrepute with their dated views on sexuality, happen to be Travellers ?
Kugan needs to have a look at himself for even uploading that to the internet in the first place. For anyone with half a brain it's virtually unwatchable.

Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
To be fair, if Allegedly gave me a contract I would want Rumpole of the Bailey going over it in triplicate with a fine tooth comb before I committed to signing it.

You're spot on there. I love what IFL do but I don't think they should be uploading that.
Always liked BJS since he turned over and like his and Furys attitude regarding that they will fight anyone. But he should be more mature to know to know not to say things like that in interview.

Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
Nothing wrong with IFL uploading that video imo, it's not for them to judge what is or isn't acceptable behaviour. BJS is a grown man & a professional boxer, he's entitled to have his voice heard. Obviously his advisors should be having a word with him, if only to protect him against board fines, but we don't need censorship of fighters' interviews.Naandrew wrote:Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Are we saying that's it's just a coincidence that the two British boxers who do most to bring British boxing into disrepute with their dated views on sexuality, happen to be Travellers ?

I know a person who added a clause to a 19 page contract a month after it was agreed in principle, granting him daily expenses of about £35 over a several week period. I spotted it and removed it, and he played dumb, reckoning he did not know how it had got there. If I'd accepted it as being the same contract we agreed earlier I'd have been stuffed with that clause. Always best to check, even if other clauses have not been added, it only takes a very slight change in the existing wording to compel the other party into something they may not be aware of.

The below was taken from frank's weekly boxing column that he posted on his website last week:Finn wrote:Just watching buncys boxing hour and the poo warren and buncy are coming out with is crazy.

'Last Monday I was delighted to announce that arch rivals Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jnr will finally meet inside the ring to settle their score.
The pair go to war in the chief support to the WBO heavyweight eliminator between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora on my 'Bad Blood' promotion at the ExCeL London on Saturday 29th November.
And if the clash for Saunders' European middleweight strap proves anywhere near as spicy as their recent Twitter exchanges, fight fans can expect a real belter.
I'll be applying for the fight to receive world eliminator status with the WBO. With the mouth-watering British super-feather scrap between Gary Sykes and Liam Walsh also signed for the card, it is easily the best show of the new season to date. Tickets start from £40 and allegedly televise live.
Southpaw Saunders is a proven force and will probably enter a strong favourite. A 2008 Beijing Olympian in his teens, the 25 year old traveller from Hatfield is unbeaten in 20 as a pro. En route he's bagged British, Commonwealth, InterContinental and European titles and scalped top grade men such as Jarrod Fletcher, Nick Blackwell, Spike O'Sullivan, John Ryder and Emanuele Blandamura. The last three named were all undefeated before Saunders set about them.
But it's Eubank Jnr who provides the intrigue here. Undoubtedly gifted, the Brighton braggart appears to have inherited his father's formidable natural strength and punch power. He is presently riding a streak of nine successive stoppage victories, including several spectacular one shot knockouts. Several respected voices tip him to spring an upset.
In contrast to Billy Joe, 24 year old Junior had nominal amateur experience and has had everything his own way whilst building a 17-0 slate. However, to compensate, dad Chris Senior – a former two weight world champion – has pulled in favours to deliver sparring tutorials against elite fighters on both sides of the Atlantic; and the reviews have been extremely favourable.
We'll find out exactly what he's got after the 12 rounds or less he shares with Saunders in late November. It promises to be unmissable.'
I've seen his IFL interview where he blamed social media for the announcement and also the bunce boxing hour where he blamed the EBU for the announcement.
I find it very difficult to take what he says seriously. I used to go to quite a lot of his shows but I won't again.
Re: BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal
If you bought tickets after this was announced then you must be pretty stupid
Half the posters on here said it wouldn't happen
It look less then a week and its off already
