No just even more surprised you would mention a guy who weighs 100 lbs fighting against garbage in the same sentence. At least Jhony has some credible opponents on his ledger.
Roman has actual fought quality opposition. It's just that most casual viewers are not aware of pretty much anyone at or around Roman's current or past divisions. So, in turn, they are unaware of what is good or bad competition there.
Please. His opponents are crap. That's like saying George Groves should be p4p top 2 because he's 45-0 beating a bunch of Christopher Rebrasse's.
Gonzalez has a million fights and is barely even in the top 50 p4p on BoxRec. Because his opponents are not respected. To mention him in same breath as Ward as ludicrous. There is no Carl Froch on Gonzalez ledger. Or even Chad Dawson. Or Mikkel Kessler. Flyweight division is not a good division.

Boxrec ratings are difficult to get a true measure, though...
BS has him p4p #2
Ring has him #9
Bleacher Report has him #10
And these are only the first three sites I checked. Just examples. So, if his opponents are such crap, he should not be breaking top ten lists on reputable boxing sites.

He's #50 on Boxrec.

Do you agree with boxrec ratings and how they are established?

Gonzalez? Johny Gonzalez? The guy you have losing to Jorge Arce's corpse?
If that's what you truly think, you're not qualified to make lists.
No just even more surprised you would mention a guy who weighs 100 lbs fighting against garbage in the same sentence. At least Jhony has some credible opponents on his ledger.
If you think he fights garbage you're further proving your ignorance. Certainly that 'garbage' is > nothing. No worries, P4P is silly anyway but Roman is my #2.

Flyweight is currently loaded. Much better than Super Middle.

Garbage is strong. But it's not a good division. It's just not. Wlad gets flak for fighting similar caliber opposition. Double standard, much?
It's not the fault of either Wlad or Roman. But it is the reality.

That's completely false, Flyweight is currently an excellent division. One of the best, they just aren't on American TV very often.

The 2nd best fighter in that division might be Brian friggin Viloria. If that's your idea of loaded, then yes, loaded. Different strokes for different folks.

The second best fighter in the division is clearly Estrada, and he could be top 10 p4p. If you put Viloria there you're once again talking directly out of your ass.

Serious question, do you watch these guys fight? It's incredibly deep right now. Comparing it to Heavyweight is hilarious.

Yes. And not overly impressed obviously.

So you watched Estrada kick Viloria's ass and came to the conclusion that Brian might be better?
Flyweight isn't for everyone, I'm surprised you can't just admit you don't care and don't know what you're talking about.

It was a pretty big upset when he beat Viloria. And the fight was close for me. I'm not convinced it wasn't a fluke. He's got more to show me. Apparently you are sold.

I was sold when he was competitive with Roman. Since then he's beaten Viloria, melindo and Segura. Nothing left to prove. He's a beast.

Just looked that up, have we?
Tell me, if you fell out of a window, you'd bitch at gravity for "suddenly fvcking you over" wouldn't you? I've never seen you admit you're wrong, even, well, like, on occasions like this.

Looked up what?
I said I believe Viloria MIGHT be 2nd best fighter in that division. Do you know what MIGHT means?

No case for Viloria being #2 when Estrada not only clearly beat him but has a significantly stronger recent resume too.
And LOL at Estrada beating Vloria being a fluke. That's the type of thing you suggest if you don't want people to take your opinion on the matter seriously.

Ah ok Viloria MIGHT be the 3rd best fighter in division. I take it all back now. What an incredible division!!

If Viloria is in the top 3 of your division and Edgar Sosa in the top 5, your division ain't very good.

Your posts on this thread are nothing short of ridiculous. Go and watch the fights and fighters you are calling garbage before you post, it is blindingly obvious you have no knowledge of what you are criticising.

I guess I'm an ignorant clown for thinking Gonzalez fights in a division that isn't all that wonderful. Admittedly I can't take guys seriously who are the size of 9 year old boys.
