I just like watching boxing and talking about it, and I do my favourites from overseas such as the Klitschko brothers, Gennady Golovkin, Orlando Salido, Mikey Garcia. Alexander Usyk plus Ericsson Lubin.

Your 318th post directed at me.

Anyone can easily see this isn't a "race-baiting thread" at all.

Good job Law. I am sick and tired of these idiots bringing racism into every second thread. I would ban posting anything related to race on a boxing forum altogether.

well you got what you wanted in that fight, didn't Caballero flatten him about 4 times, or was it twice and a 4th round stoppage? I was shocked by that as I watched Molitor in person pick up the IBF here in England against Michael Hunter and boy was he slick! I honestly thought he was gonna be a fighter on a par with only the 2 or 3 best in the world. Then he got flopped by the Panamanian. I don't think he could handle his height, that's what I read....

where were you on Froch- Bute, crusader? I take it you are Canadian, sir?

where are you from mate?

I'm with Ally-M1 from previous page:

I support Boxers from all over the UK, Europe and the World. On that same token, there is plenty UK and world fighters I don't like.

Where they're from, doesn't matter. If I like them, I like them.

agree with you although there are historical topics that would involve race which i think would be acceptable to discuss

it's the person first for me, over nationality. If I don't know much about either then naturally I will root for a British fighter over a "foreign" opponent.
But I also have sevearl favourites from other places. For instance I was quite confused a few years ago when Marco Barrera came to the UK to box Amir Khan, I travelled quite a long way to see that fight and paid for overnight accommodation in order to see a boxing legend, when the fighting started I was rooting for Barrera but I was also not rooting against Khan either, it was confusing lol.
Barrera was slower but he was dodging everything in that fight, he looked like a buoy bobbing up and down on the ocean and if it had gone on I could have well imagined him taking Khan out later in the fight - we'll never know!

I did want David Haye to lose to Klitschko, on account I don't like him in any way.

there's loads of other fighters I "like" more than Carl Froch as well, as I don't really like him, that includes fighters from all over. If he boxed Andre Ward again for instance, I'd get behind Ward, because Froch's head would get so big he'd need to come home on an aircraft-carrier.

Boxing is one of the sports where nationality is not an issue for me.

I support fighters, not where they come from.

I am American. I give American fighters no extra favoritism, nor am I against them. If anything, I often but not always end-up on whatever side of the argument opposes someone else or many others who is/are biased; but I favor fact as well. I take the side of Kovalev over Stephenson and Hopkins, Pacquiao over Mayweather, Stiverne over Wilder, Quillin over Golovkin, Ward over anyone active in his division, Alvarez over his haters, etc.. I thought David Price was a fraud, but I think Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are legit. There is no nationality that I dislike, including the nationalities that are most unpopular in America, like various from the Middle East.

I am Canadian. I wanted Bute to beat Froch but I thought Froch would win, though I expected a competitive fight and not a career-shattering mullering like it ended up being.

Molitor was way out of his depth against Caballero and had no answers, and while I think he was troubled by Caballero's height the latter was also significantly better in general. I thought Caballero would probably win, but like Froch-Bute I didn't expect it to end so quickly and lopsidedly. Molitor regained his title after that, but I don't think he was the same fighter (once again, like Froch-Bute) and he struggled with the tough but quite limited Jason Booth when he returned to England.

I surely have a lean towards North American boxing, but I think thats just cuz thats the stuff I see & boxing info I'm exposed to the most. I do got homerism for Michigan boxers cuz thats where I grew up & specifically Grand Rapids cuz that's where I was born.
Wow. I'm exactly the same way, minus the Grand Rapids part.

I'm with him there. Fuçk patriotism, at least when the reasoning behind it is "My country is the best because I was born there." If it's well thought out, that's completely different.

Another past forum member named Asterix & I positively IDed you long ago as the racist poster on the racist sports forum castefootball.com. Everyone who has been here from your Tunney days remembers your antics & your many subtle racist posts hating on American fighters, especially black ones & also Jewish commentators, managers, refs, etc. (Atlas, Kellerman, etc).

Everyone who knows your double identity as Tunney/Freeedom2013 calls you out for being a racist, so just just put it on me.
Why do you bring racism into every thread when you know it's against the forum's rules? Do you realize when you do that you're making the forum look bad?

Why do you bold your posts when you tell a lie? Think people are more likely to believe you then?

I've never posted anything racist as Tunney or as Freedom2013 (the Tunney account was never banned, it was somehow lost when the site did it's upgrade to a new server). I don't make racist posts about any fighters.

On the other hand, YOU are well-known for having a history only liking boxers from your own country. We remember all your posts over the years discrediting and bashing British and other European boxers, as well as Asian boxers.

What you accuse me of being, you are yourself!

I criticize ANY unfair officiating I see in the sport, whether it's in Germany, Russia, UK or the USA, whether the boxer is White, Black, Asian or whatever. I'll be critical of a commentator who is biased whether he is overly pro-American, pro-English or pro-Russian, regardless of his/her race or religion.

I have favorite fighters from countries all over the world and of all races, and you know that. You need to stop your childish personal attacks on me. You're hurting this website, by making this forum look bad.

I support fighters from my country every single time they fight, i score rounds every time i watch fights, i don't give fighters from my country rounds just cuz they're from my country even if o root for them in that fight.
