I don't think he's a boxer. Based on his shorts and his bare feet I'd wager he's a Muay Thai guy or Taekwondo or something and not very good at that either, just probably a guy who goes to the gym to get fit twice a week who got set up for a hiding. Funny though.

To be fair to the younger guy, he seemed to be laughing himself at the end when he was standing by the ropes and everyone else had started laughing. eff me that's got to be embarassing though. Even if the guy was a good fighter in his day he's in his mid 60's now so it would still sting no matter what lol

Im sure it started off as a friendly kind of joke but the old guy suddenly was back in the ring fighting for a world title, in his head. I bet hes a real handful on a Saturday night in his local boozer too when he's pissed and they want him out. A right proper Paul Sykes!

What you have to relize is the older guy has been a boxer and is still going to gyms , he knew how to move he knew how to slip , the young guy did'nt have a clue what he was doing and did'nt start throwing bombs he just got clobbered .

just watch , the young fellas feet square on , he jabbed , he tried to defend and was holding his breath , basic boxing mistakes the older guy more fluent knew his distance and was never gonna get hit ,

So they have dodgy type gyms in Italy, at least he stopped soonish , when he realised he was far to good, for what looked like a first timer in the gym, but why was the spar allowed to happen, sorry the hammering.

I knew a famous gym near me who would let a pro of some experience beat up on novices after promising a 'friendly spar' a shithouse trick of massive proportions and discouraged some kids who could have made pretty good boxers. It happens when there is little to no supervision.

it may well be the case that it was the young guy who was throwing his weight around, or mouthing off, and what happened in the ring was him getting put in his place. that seems the much likelier scenario.

If the younger guy was mouthing off then the older dude could have proved his point by going in and slipping, stepping in and out of distance, landing a jab here and there and basically embarrassing the other guy. A guy who is clearly more experienced and capable doesn't get any credit from me for going in there and bullying a lesser opponent regardless of age.

Automatically the old guy becomes the hero to everyone watching the video when there is good chance that in reality he's the villain.

How have you worked any of this out? Because he is small and old then the young guy is a bully, probably what happened was that the little old guy or some of the trainers in on the 'joke' said to new guy, 'hey, spar with this little old guy - go easy on him' and the little old guy decks him.

From my experience, local bullies all know each other and b) Have more of an idea - in my opinion, the poor bugger was set up, he didn't even have any footwear on.
