Just someone else make the other 2 threads (I'll edit the title of this one.) Make sure you don't call it a RBR tho. Taffytoon will throw a fit if anyone is doing anything other than giving a blow by blow account of the action.

Caterall v Stalker I'm looking forward to. Top 3 fights on the Sky bill and the Hall fight on C5 too. Murray's and Mathews fight I'll keep an eye on. The rest I'm not too fussed.

Wow, two judges had it by 2, one by ten, for Budler.

I was somewhere in between (but actually closer to ten than two) for Budler.

Light-heavies now.

Alvarez very quick & flashy bit like a less-stumpy Jean Pascal, fast & flash but not that technical, like. Liebenberg a crowding slugger, roughing up Alvarez on the inside. But EA's round.

10-9 EA

Liebenberg making it scrappy, working inside, holding & hitting. EA not doing enough, looking a bit subdued from the Afrikaaner's rights to the body.

10-9 RL

19-19

SOuth African doing a shit-hot job crowding & roughing up the Colombian inside. Alvarez lands some big stuff on the counter--right uppercut/right cross late on, might've hurt RL, bloodies his nose!

Good fight, but Liebenberg did well to stay up from that uppercut, & the right-hand after didn't help.

29-28 EA.

Not one this one at the moment. Will check it out later. If you had to do a mystic meg style prediction based on what you've seen so far mate, how do you think this one is gonna end up?

Alvarez a tidy offensive fighter but RL pressures him enough he either shuts down or gets caught, awkwardly, out of position. RL then all over him inside.

Last minute though EA gets up on his toes & tattoos RL when he comes straight forward, squared up. One right uppercut gives RL whiplash. Another hard right from EA.

39-37 EA. Could be even. Good fight.

Er, Alvarez is gonna crumble from the pressure or he's gonna take RL's head clean off with one of those counters.

Smart money would be on the Colombian. No head movement from RL, EA can hit.

RL tired in the fifth, getting picked off. Eats the right uppercut.

49-46 EA

EA outboxing him now, messing his face up bad.

RL's handiness with the head means a cut to EA's left eye-accidental head clash ruled.

RL storms forward HUGE RIGHT UPPERCUT COUNTER FROM EA! SICKENING! DOWN GOES LIEBENBERG...

Ref apparently took a point for the butt as well, so 10-7.

Basically over.

EA's combos are shredding RL's face, still coming forward but...

Doctor's visit.

Alvarez TKO 7 Liebenberg (doctor's stoppage on a cut, but wasn't going much longer).

Soon as RL tired & EA got enough distance to get his feet under him, it was over, the only thing stopping EA teeing off on him was that he was being bum-rushed to the ropes. Good fight.

Alvarez needs more seasoning, but that fight will have done him the world of good, having a big strong bloke willing to get fvcked up & try & win no matter what is probably what a lot of prospects need. I sometimes think a shorter dogfight where you had trouble helps some boxers more--in terms of rounding out the skillset--than controlling someone for twelve rounds with little challenge (though that is of course a skill that also has to be learned & I'm not arguing against that sort of matchmaking, either. Just asking for this type of matchmaking once in a while).

Same way it probably did Lomachenko the power of good to lose to Salido, like.

Hall vs Caballero up next. Shall I shut up?

What in the name of cunting fvcknuts have they done to God Save the Queen?

Fvck me. The horrific rendition that song deserves, one supposes but fuck me...

Right then, Caballero vs Hall. Stuey giving the caterwaulers justified evils for the abortion they're committing over in the corner.

Fight should be good.

RC snaps back H's head with a short straight left, surprises Stuie. After exchanges RC lands another sweet left hook at the end of the trading.

Hall working very hard early, RC blocks a lot on his gloves, hurts H to body with a right, ruled low, toe-to-toe stuff, shit-hot.

RC's work a lot neater inside H's shots.

10-10 mebbe? Fvcking mint though I might just watch this one...
