Curtis beginning to look like a bit of a playground bully to me. Shame really as the British title win was a great story.

No such thing as bad publicity.
I'm not a Fan of social media - too old - but get why and for what reason it's used.
The two new posters have clearly an axe to grind and to be honest if Curts got under Wazzas skin then he's gone up another couple of notches in my book.
As for the Hamilton fight it was close but please you two anyone would think it was a travesty. Still if Hamilton told you he thought he'd won then I guess his word is better than the judges.

Supported curtis right up until the whole Scott Harrison situation, people don't get on and can be idiots, but Scott is a legend and deserves respect and for curtis to stoop so low and go personnel put me off him, although will no longer support any Peter harrison fighter

Ugh, I was as happy as anyone when Curtis won the British title. A tremendous story with a happy ending...
Then Limond schooled him. Then...who cares?
Prior to beating Hamilton, Curtis had risen to the level of a measuring stick for other fighters. That is his level. Just below Britsh title level 99.9% of the time. There is nowt wrong with that. Alot better than I'd do!
BUT, as a fan I have no interest in seeing him fight on. I can't see a single fight that could be made for him that would capture the publics attention in any significant way. If he goes in with someone decent he will get beat.

All this twitter baiting makes him look a bit sad. You can #banter all you like, doesn't make anything Curtis says important or relevant in anyway whatsoever.

I like Woodhouse, he comes across well on here, seems pretty honest and level-headed he knows what he is and what he isn't. I'd rather that than some deluded bullshitter or some egomaniac and we've had both of those types posting on here.

That British title scrap was so close, Hamilton didn't work hard enough throughout and Woodhouse just outworked him. He worked hard for what he got out of British boxing and who is some 12 post wonder to really come on and try and destroy a man's achievements in the sport. If you're gona do that really you've got to stand up and say who you are and who your allegiances are with or else you just look like a newbie troll.

Woodhouse's achievements were remarkable in many ways. Leaving a pro football career with no amateur experience. Yet won Brit title.

However I found him and his tweets a bit dislikeable and bit bullying

He ostracised many with his antagonistic tweets; and whilst it's a great story, intimidating and threatening a drunken, soft troll is not very macho

Woodhouse is dining out from winning a paper thin decision vs Hamilton.

Then he's retiring, then coming back to lose his title, then coming back for what exactly? He doesn't have an exciting style, he has no KO power, he's not a fighter that makes you tune in, the story has finished Curtis, end it.

His biggest claim in the boxing game is calling out some twitter 'troll' but that shit was probably staged anyway.

He basically stuck up for Eubank and said how good it was.

As for me thinking its genius, i'm bpred of the same old build up for every fight. Press conference to announce it, bit of a tour press conference where they aregue, followed by the weigh in and the stare down with maybe some pushing. Its all become too obvious so for me as a fan, its nice to see somebody go against the grain a bit

It may be an unpopular opinion but it seems Curtis is a Twitter troll who then bleated when someone gave him a load of grief back.

I could understand if the guy had given him racial abuse, but telling Curtis he is shit hardly seemed a good enough reason to start aggro. It was also a bit thick considering that Woodhouse is an ex-violent offender.

If you don't want to ruck, don't start acting like a social media troll yourself

Everyone has off days but if you're on twitter there are thousands who take notice and change their opinions like the weather.

Warren did make me laugh "whose Curtis Woodhouse, how is he qualified to comment on a British, Commonwealth and European fight"

One time British Champion and twice Commonwealth challenger - think he is qualified to comment!

Whilst I thought he lost clearly to Limond it was officially a majority decision, so you take away those KD's it would have been a split decision.

I think if Limond is stagnating then why not a rematch with Woodhouse?

I think he's quite good on twitter, better than most of the drivel on there or retweets of the fornicating lad bible/paddy power shite that normally pops up.

As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, he seems to be happy enough to act himself on there and not worry about toeing the corporate line like so many sportsmen who are worried about where the next sponsors cheque will come from.

It's why i like Tyson Fury on there so much. You never know what you're going to get from him and he baits the trolls as well
