It fornicating sucks, and how often do the sanctioning bodies strip someone of a title, hardly ever. Usually it's when someone holds all three belts, and they want to free it up again so they get more sanctioning fees from a more active and more hungry champion.

Eastman, hasn't earned the #1 ranking. Morrade Haakar was the #1 contendor, lost this ranking when he lost to Hopkins. Eastman moved up.

In most cases like this (ask Clinton Woods) the fighter must fight an eliminator before getting the shot, this was supposed to happen, but it didn't. However, as with Woods, he'll probably have to fight another opponent in an eliminator - if it doesn't take place (like Witter vs Pinto) expect him to lose his #1 ranking. Because Clinton hadn't won his #1 ranking in an eliminator (this is for Jones) he was supposed to Michael Nunn in an final eliminator, Nunn no showed several times but Woods COULDN'T get his shot against Jones untill he faced an eliminator (Yawe Davis).

Remember Glencoffe Johnson was originally set as a final eliminator also.

How can you say that? Eastman is well known for going awol (you prob dont know this) being ill disciplined at times(again you probably dont know this) and is hardly crowd pleasing (you may well not know this judging by your posts).
To say that hatton who raises the profile of boxing in the country like howard could only dream of, is a waste of space and big up a man who clearly isnt that bothered about the sport is somewhat pathetic in my view.
Eastman had his chance and due to his own ill discipline by not pushing the advantage didnt take it. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it mate.
Calm down, J !!

Opinion - MINE !

Relax yourself !!
