Sturm by 1 point for me. But we await the scorecards

I think draw, 115-113 either way works too. Do they favor Stieg... controlling most of the round with pace and work rate, landing the harder shots or do the judges prefer the 15 seconds, two bursts a round from Sturm...

Fight ended 10 seconds faster? Was I the only one that saw that? Anyway, Last round was Sturm, outlanding Stieglitz with everything he had. Amazing fight, never expected to see such a good one. Sturm connected more troughout the bout, but Stieglitz Landed the harder punches and worked more to the body. a Very close fight. Could Go either way but I had it 7-5 Sturm

That was a fun fight....gonna be a hard fight to score

Agree, a winner is always nice. I'm just glad we didn't see bad scorecards, like 118-110 Sturm, or nonsense like that.....

Ah well, we move on. It was a great fight and if it has to happen again so be it. A 50/50 fight again, but I would fancy Sturm to get the better of him next time.

I'm with you, I hate draws in boxing.

You have to admit though, the fight was a cracker. I had thought it was going to be a clinch fest for 12 rounds but both guys gave a great account of themselves, great entertainment.

I scored it 114-114.

So fair result.

Sorry this is very belated. Just watched the replay. What a fight. I had 115 113 Sturm but couldn't argue with a draw. A rematch will sell huge numbers. I have always had utmost respect and admiration for Sturm since his loss to Delahoya. Such a pro and technically correct boxer. Was a massive size difference in the ring. Great bout.
