Briggs doesn't actually seem as mental as I thought he was. Obviously he's talking rubbish, but he looks like he's just trying to earn a final payday by any means necessary.

I fear the typical VK masterclass
You never know. He's probably got as good a chance as any heavyweight.

Unlikely. But we can live in hope.
Realistically he's probably one of the best challengers for a long time and he's well built, has he been hurt in a fight before? I havent too many of hits fights, he fought a good fight in the second half of the thompson fight, however he was outboxed in the first half so i do wonder if by the time the second half of the fight comes round if he still has the stomach for it after taking that jab in the face for several rounds if he doesnt have any success..

I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps into the ring mid fight or something. He's a nutjob.

Almost time for the thrice-yearly desperate yearning for Wlad to lose only to be left cold and depressed

im agreeing with woodhall on the whole wlad hug fest problems, they really need to stop him holding and leaning in this fight.

Richie Woodhall keeping it real. Sticking it to Sky, going with Eurosport.

Not Wlads problem, the refs are to blame. Tyson Fury does it aswell the size difference just makes it natural.

Would love a referee to really pull him up on this if only to see how he would cope.

Woodhall is alright. As he's freelance, he tends to talk sense. Not what the channel paying him says he should say.

Pulev wasnt willing to pay the sanctioning fee's for the other belts apparantly.

Pulev wouldn't pay the WBA and WBO sanctioning fees, I think it still counts as a defence of those titles for Wlad though.

Briggs would get hurt, he's damaged already.
Pulev seems to do everything quite well, a fluid fighter with good hand speed, puts his combinations together but ominously carries his hands a bit low.
I'm sure VK will be able to negate these strength with his own jab and his natural physical advantages. Obv he will grow only one night but there does not seem any sign of this and the Bulgarian doesn't have the one shot power to pull off a shock.
Expect the usual whitewash on the cards and maybe if Pulev tires and VK decides to really step in behind the jab he can force the stoppage.

Something that is messed up though is Wladimir somehow persuaded the IBF to reduce Pulev's purse from the standard 25% to 20% and in the process Wladimir's get increased that extra 5%.
