Great work by froch, inventing the term cobra'd and forcing degale and groves rematch. Finally he's thinking and being much more cute before he speaks.

What with him being mates with Bellew and Degale & Froch fighting...plus Calzage will be about
because of Cleverley...Carl won't be able to contain himself with his bitter, self important rants...
hopefully Glen will be keep him somewhat in check :OhYes:
haven't seen most of the broadcast but he's done a neat job of attacking Groves while making it look impartial, basically saying he thinks Degale would beat him clearly. It wouldn't help Groves to be listening to him tbh, although I suspect there's no way it won't get back to him.

How were Groves' and Degale's performances tonight?

Degale decent, taking into account the fact that Periban isn't Ward and he was massively fat; Groves bang average, seemed to severely underestimate the kid and had a tough opening few rounds. He did seen to adjust from 4 onwards though.

thanks mate I wasn't in when it started. It seems that Groves and Cleverly are suffering from boxing hangovers. Cleverly was nothing like I've ever seen him and Bellew proceeded to box down to Cleverly's level, imo.

Groves and Degale isn't as clear cut as Froch makes out imo. Groves isn't done by a long chalk imo and also Degale's more than capable of going to sleep in fights when he isn't looking fantastic.

Froch should be walking away if you ask me, although he looks fantastic considering the wars he's had.

I think Froch came across pretty well last night, I like him, he probably had a rye smile about Groves performance last night but who wouldn't have Groves has been cobra'ed brilliant and I think he might just be right.

Andre Ward might as well not exist! :o

Decades pass between his fights & even when he does fight & do the business, it's derided then quickly forgotten.
