If he comes through these as I expect him to come through with flying colours there is only one opponent left after that whether
that may be early 2016 or delayed to the summer of 2016 but if the above are beaten as easily as he has been doing it I see
absolutely no reason to hold him back.

It would be Wlad's pension fund in front of 80,000 at Wembley, Joshua should it go wrong would obviously be plenty young enough to come again when Wlad hangs them up.

Also should AJ win which for me is a live possibility, the rematch clause written in by Wlad would give them both an enormous 2nd fight pay day.

I genuinely and have been saying it since the first fight, I cannot see the point in holding this kid back at the rate he will progress, he even looked to me as if he was a little
fed up on Saturday night in the interview, he was not his usual constant smiling AJ, they need to be careful this does not become boring for him and give him the feeling that he has nothing particular to aim at for 12 months.

He needs to know where he is going after each fight, he needs to focus because I really rate him as you can see and despite where most everyone thinks Wlad is at present, I did not see a man
against Pulev who had loads left, his power is awesome but the rest is beginning to consist of jab/hold and absolutely nothing else but the power. (even more so and we all saw how he was moved/wobbled by Pulev's first jab, I backed Wlad but actually think it might have been a different story if those first round kd's had not happened, they took everything out of Pulev.

People are moaning about a 10 fight novice who has been blowing his opposition away, being matched with someone who has never been stopped and fought at the highest level.

Oh course he isn't going to beat Joshua, but he'll make him pace himself (hopefully). It's exactly the sort of opponent that Price should have fought. Although I wouldn't put it past Johnson to stop Price late.

Browne would be a good step up after Johnson I agree, give him power coming back to worry about. It's all about progression. People want to see him in with an unbeaten prospect and then mock Dallas (who would obviously be a massive step down). The same Dallas who was an unbeaten prospect when Price stopped him. You don't always learn a lot fighting opponents who you cannot properly gauge.

If you have any worries with Joshua, it should be how quickly it is until he is headlining his own PPV show

I don't think anyone is moaning about AJ. Sky/Matchroom are bigging the guy up to the hilt, people on here saying he beats Del and Fury on the same night, i've even seen tweets that he beats Wlad. Hearn said he beats Fury in 5.
So, if he is this wonder kid already, why not put your money where your mouth is and put him in with Fury/Chisora/Browne/whoever. No, they match him with Johnson and say it'll be a learning fight, although publicly he's said to be passed that already.

You can't have it all ways. That's what gets folks goat.

I'm confused as to why so many people think that a 10 fight novice shouldn't be fighting the likes of Johnson.

Johnson is the perfect opponent for him.

It might not make for great viewing for us, but it will help with Joshua's development.

Also, Joshua fights once a month, so I can't see a problem with it at all, because if he beats Johnson convincingly, the bigger & better fights & opponents will come thick & fast anyway.

Indeed, for most 10 fight novices Johnson would be an assignment far too soon.
