Look forward to watching the fight.
Re: Clark v Evans
True but is he really going to say that and lose his job? If he said he thought Clark beat Evans then he would lose his job. Steve Bunce was at the door at the start of the Williams fight and said to Frank that Evans was very very lucky there and Frank was nodding his head. The crowd boo'd the decision. Random fans going up to Ronnie saying he had won. Neutral fighter saying Ronnie had won.. I knew Steve Lillis is respected but he can't come out and say that. Craig's face is a mess. Ronnie has no marks. He didn't take any shots. I hope they show the whole fightTommy Gunn13 wrote:I respect lillis opinion,he seems a decent enough bloke.I doubt the whole fight will get shown anyhow..

Rematch in Aberdeen, Davie?

Re: Clark v Evans
These guys only fight on home shows, as for ronnie losing for me troy james was a close fight but ronnie didn't do enough on night, although when watching fight back ronnies defence was good, just needed to let punches go but troy defence was awkward with ducking, never seen evans fight so can't judge only what Iv been told, walsh was close also I had ronnie, and Maxi Ronnie won also,
Re: Clark v Evans
We would have to see footage - but Evans is crafty, and that's why he held wins over Yafai and Selby in the amateurs if I'm not mistaken.
Re: Clark v Evans
Yeah of course Im in same boat need to see footage, seemingly weight drained and sat with his back on the ropes though

Re: Clark v Evans
It's not the standard face of a man who just lost a fight 8-2 to be fair.
Did i see ronnie say he got a point deduction? So 98-93 gives him a couple shared rounds i suppose.

I'm not sure but I think he lost 2 points 1 for messy work 1 for a low blow in 10th that was on ronnies twitter account
Re: Clark v Evans
He lost one for messy work, the low blow he didn't lose a point, spoke to ronnie and he said the referre thought they were playing American football pushing him about the ring, said shot in the 10th was a scoring shot that hurt craig and referee knows it, honestly ronnie is his biggest critic and if he doesn't stop them he feels he lost, that's who he is, his fans thoigh some
Who are really honest everyone saying it's shocking, one of them says he loses when he stops the fighter, end of day he was underdog, will only make ronnie better

Re: Clark v Evans
Was seemingly a head clash that the ref signalled while taking the point off.. Craig was grabbing and pushing down.. The body shot was either the 9th or 10th was a cracker.. Craig got about 30 sec rest.. The ref kept pushing Ronnie off on the break. Kept fixing something on Craig's gloves at least 5-6 times never seen anything like it. Let's hope they show the whole fight
Re: Clark v Evans
Just had a message of a pro boxer who attended the show he said it was a fantastic fight credit to both lads he evans winning the fight. Hope they show full fight and not just clips on friday editing can make a fight look so different. Fair play to ronnie for travelling but was always up against it prospect on big promoter's show. Ronnies proved he wil fight anyone about time his promoter's backed him and got him these fights at home.

Re: Clark v Evans
They won't be showing the full fight Friday (on Box-nation) the show is only on for 30mins and they'll show the Liam Williams KO
Re: Clark v Evans
Look at Craig's face and body in comparison to Ronnie's in the interviews then tell me who it looks like won. Boxing is a funny sport but both interviews show you exactly what you need to know

Re: Clark v Evans
Kugan thought Evans won. Ronnie seemed like a nice bloke though.
Re: Clark v Evans
Lots of bitter Clark fans I see haha, I knew Evans would be too much for him.
Re: Clark v Evans
Not bitter at all, and too much lol, evans couldn't hurt ronnie in 150 rounds, sayif that he can't even do 10, unfit as hell and blowing after 4
Re: Clark v Evans
No one is bitter with Craig Evans who got in there and fought his heart out. The shots he stood up from were incredible. His chin was tested and it came through with flying colours. Was in trouble in the last from a body shot ref called it a low blow he was getting stopped it took everything away from him but he recovered well with the 30+ sec rest the ref gave him.. Ronnie even set up the ropes as a hammock to have a rest while he was waiting.. This was shocking referee'ing.. You see it too often. If Ronnie got a decision like that I would be on here saying he was very lucky and he got a bit of a gift.. There's a lot more to come from Ronnie no amateur experience really. Ronnie will come back stronger

But he did 10? Against The Shark, too.JamieM wrote:Not bitter at all, and too much lol, evans couldn't hurt ronnie in 150 rounds, sayif that he can't even do 10, unfit as hell and blowing after 4
Re: Clark v Evans
He sat on the ropes, got hurt with a body shot in 10 and said it was a low blow to which referee gave of course, top class official, as Iv said ronnie had 6 amateur fights, Craig's was fighting lomachenko, we not bitter at all, ronnie and craig both know , craig won it easy lol, why boxing is such a joke, I kinda sat on fence with whole thing as ronnie is in same boat as he was before the fight but when craig and his family don't have any respect then they get none back, ronnie is his biggest critic and when he's sayig I never done enough in England then says it all, needs to ko to get a win it seems
Re: Clark v Evans
if you get a copy of the fight please post it up on here because I'm genuinely interested in watching it. Can't comment because I haven't seen it but I'd like too.JamieM wrote:He sat on the ropes, got hurt with a body shot in 10 and said it was a low blow to which referee gave of course, top class official, as Iv said ronnie had 6 amateur fights, Craig's was fighting lomachenko, we not bitter at all, ronnie and craig both know , craig won it easy lol, why boxing is such a joke, I kinda sat on fence with whole thing as ronnie is in same boat as he was before the fight but when craig and his family don't have any respect then they get none back, ronnie is his biggest critic and when he's sayig I never done enough in England then says it all, needs to ko to get a win it seems

Re: Clark v Evans
Tris Dixon was worried at one point Ronnie was going to get stopped! Team Clarks version is the complete opposite to everyone else who was there!
