TBF he has been impressing me more in his last few fights,and he is starting to look like he might be able to win a title of some sorts but if it wasnt for the baggage he brings,he'd be in the wilderness waiting for a shot at something
He wouldn't be bigged up as much but he wouldn't be critisised as much either. People are looking for faults because of who he is, he might get even more credit if he was John smith.

And how may fights is that? Davies has hardly trained anyone outside Eubank, Tibbs has trained loads of fighters of varying qualities.

God I miss Eubank Sr, there's never been anyone quite like him - by turns, mesmerising, brave, foolhardy, inspired, moronic, exasperating and inspirational - but we will never see his like again in or out of the ring in boxing.

Saunders has been a bit of a disappointment as a pro. When he was an amateur I honestly thought we were talking about a lad who was going to go the full distance and win world titles and be involved in massive fights. Never thought this far into his pro career we would be talking about a potential 50/50 fight with someone likes Eubank jnr.
I love Snr. My hero as a young boy.

I think we can look through Eubank's career and see a wealth of dodgy as hell decisions he got because the WBO at that point wanted a visible champion.
I seem to remember Watt joking that the police raided the WBO offices and found the scorecards for Eubank's next five fight, or something on those libnes

Completely agree with this actually. Remember that batch of Olympians turning pro and thinking to myself Saunders would definitely go the furthest. I guess he still could but it hasn't been done at the pace I was expecting.

It's really hard to separate the possibilities of what's happening with his rhetoric.
1) he genuinely believes the things he's saying about his Son

Senior's problem is that he likes to use 75 words, when one will do, so he tends to end up waffling.
I wouldn't expect anything different, but he is hyping Junior up so much that you'd think Junior was the result of a genetic fusing of Charley Burley & Sugar Ray Robinson!

Looking at Senior, he looks physically like he did in his prime.
He looks to be in great shape, but thakfully he doesn't harbour any thoughts about fighting these days.

Eubank Jnr looks a fair bit bigger than Saunders at the face off and he looks to be holding his nerve; Billy had a few shouting stuff out but Eubank not too concerned.
