For a boxing fan, £12 per month to watch BN om a television set is unquestionably a fair price but you can't get it for £12 (legally).

If a person wants to watch BN legally on their television, excluding hardware, they will have to pay out a minimum of £46.50 per month. To watch Sky boxing too, excluding 'PPV', they will have to pay out a minimum of £70.13 per month, excluding hardware. That's a lot of money on top of everything else.

edit: actually when you factor in the cost of phone line rental too, it's a good chunk more than the above.

Can you sign up for BN if you live abroad (I'm thinking online through livesport.tv as I don't own a smartphone or tablet atm)?

I live in the middle of the New Forest and it works ok with a decent Internet provider and package for me. Had to go for the 'fibre but not fibre' option with BT to get about 9mb a second.
