57-57

Grado has a very good engine and this could be the difference.

Gradovich continuing to move through the gears, Velez trying to fight back but Gradovich is out working and out landing him. 4-3 Gradovich

4-3 Grado

This is the best I've seen Velez though. Seems like he's made some technical improvements.

Velez is being ground out, would like to see more body work from Gradovich but he's in control now

6-3 to Gradovich
Velez is being dragged more and more into Gradovich's kitchen and is being burned over and over

Gradovich in control but Velez still trying. He just couldn't keep up the pace like Gradovich did,

Good effort from Velez, especially late on, but clear win for Gradovich.

9-3 Grado

Good fight and more competitive than my card suggests. I'd favor Selby over Gradovich.

Boxing is in crisis. Scoring nowadays is absolutely baffling.

A draw was suspect but one judge actually had Velez winning? WTF!

Velez won 3 rounds. Depending on how you see things he could've possibly won a maximum of two more. How anyone can have him winning is completely ridiculous. How?

disagree with lillis there, velez wasn't doing enough.his movement ended in rnd 4 onwards and his punches were doing no harm whatsoever.gradovich won 9 on the trot

He fought hard, but over the second half he wasn't boxing crisply like he was early and his shots didn't have much on them. Gradivich bossed him for most of the bout and I can't see anything other than a Grado win.
