Cunningham is actually one of the most ideal heavyweights that a network could show on tv to casual, American fans.

He's been in some exciting scraps lately too and could make something that we rarely see anymore - an entertaining heavyweight fight. His bouts with Fury and Monsour ( spelling ) had me on the edge of my seat.
but what will people think if he beats glazkov and then becomes mandatory for Wladimir?
If that happened, my thoughts would be as follows:
-Glazkov is as much of an overrated turd as I've always been saying he was.
-Good for Cunningham. That would earn him about a #5 ranking in the world, making him a little more deserving than Jennings currently is, and clearly more deserving than Wilder is. Right this second, people perceive Wilder and Jennings as serviceable opponents for Wlad, so being better than them is a good thing, right?
-A Cunningham who just beat Glazkov would be a slightly above average challenger, but still a routine defense. Worse than Povetkin, Haye, Pulev, Byrd, and potentially Fury. Better than Leapai, Wach, Pianeta, Thompson 2, Rahman, Mormeck, Brock, Austin, Brewster 2, Peter 2, etc.. About equal to Chagaev, Ibragimov, Chambers, Thompson 1, etc..

Sometimes that happens. And he'd certainly make a more worthy contender than Alex Leapai, Jean Marc Mormeck or Marius Wach.
good answer
wlad always defends his mandatroy (as was leapai)

lest not forget, after wlad killed mormeck, fury chased a fight with mormeck and wach remains an avoided fighter (grantite chin)
It is entirely justified if people avoid Wach. Wach is a dirty scumbag who got caught trying to use gloves with the padding removed while also being on steroids in the same fight. Would you agree to fight someone like that, who uses a combination of multiple of the games filthiest cheats in the same fight? If he brought a gun into the ring and shot all of his previous opponents, would you sign-up to be his next opponent? Wach should never be licensed to fight again, and anyone who agrees to fight him is a moron.
