Great news for Smigga,i wasnt a boxreccer when he was getting into barny's on here so i like him,he may seem arrogant,i'd say confident,either way he's no different to 95% of boxers,if he is so bad then we can assume his arrogance has grabbed him 2 world title shots

I had him winning the first fight by a point(115-114) but i'll accept i was probably seduced by the velvet tones of Halling and the shouting of Watt,i will say though im no fan of Abraham's very low work rate and thats why i was edging Smith

On the outset it looks as if Arthur is better than Paul,after all Abraham won without looking special dominated the very best Paul Smith,at least on the scorecards anyway

But i dont think its any certainty that Smith has no chance in the rematch,as i said i thought Paul edged it,fair enough everyone else thought Abraham won but either way IMO it was close so i feel Smith def has a chance,just because Abraham won comfy last time doesnt mean he will this time,Ive must have seen Abraham fight 20 times and he's tempremental and goes through the motions and can be outworked,and Stieglitz showed in their 2nd fight he can lose heart,so maybe if Arthur has 1 of his off nights and Smith can learn from the first fight where he went wrong then maybe he can pull it off

I reckon Smith makes a better fist of it in the rematch and i'll have him winning wider than i did the first fight,the real concern is the judges

Abraham is Abraham, fights the same all the time. I don't think he changes when there are more threatening opponents (why was he awful vs Froch and in Stieglitz 2, he was surely motivated for those two).

I think Smith might be more confident himself this time. I gave the fight to Abraham (just) cos I thought a few rounds, Smith was a bit too tentative, a bit too weary of Abraham's power and a bit too just lacking in confidence. This time he knows he can mix with him and knows he can take the power (as long as he doesn't get too careless).

Lets hope it is a freezing cold february - Abraham hates fighting in the cold conditions.

I hope he can manage a stoppage this time around because even if he won every round he ain't getting no decisison over there

Here is my prediction :

We all know that Paul Smith is a decent domestic level fighter, but in no way does he deserve a World title shot - anyway, we are where we are.

The rematch has been arranged to give Abraham another nice pay day, and also to create some drama in order to set up another fight further down the road next year.

I predict that Paul will put up a good showing and ultimately fall short.

At this point Calum Smith will take to the ring - he will look into the camera and say "Apart from our nans, us Scousers love our older brothers. I will swear on the grave of Bill Shankley that I will train all day every day in order to avenge my brothers defeat".

Eddie's PR will then go into overdrive - "This time it's personal" - "Familly revenge" etc. etc. - leading to a fight at the Echo Arena this time next year on a PPV event.

This time next year, Abraham will be a year older, and Calum will be a year stronger and more experienced - I take Calum Smith to win.

If the Echo Arena is not available, Eddie could always arrange the fight for Christmas day - maybe in Siberia or somewhere similar.

If there is one boxer i would want to see get completely dominated its that dick Paul Smith, cant stand the arrogant prick.
thinks he knows it all and that he is world level, genuinely winds me up.
Plus on a personal level he slated a mate of mine on twitter when he didnt know anything about what he was saying which was a pretty sensitive subject at the time too
