I can see this happening but not as quickly - I reckon Wilder dropped in 3rdBoxerbeetle wrote:This will be similar to the Seth Mitchell vs Arreola fight imo - Wilder will come out swinging but will be decked & stopped as soon as Stiverne lands his first shots.
I will therefore be putting my house on Stiverne in the 1st![]()

I'd say so too.MightyWarrior wrote:http://youtu.be/F2QjTroBo4U
Bookies seem to be dazzled by that record but his chin looks underpar for a heavy...

Deontay is underweight for his height as a heavyweight similar height to Wlad but weights 20lbs less (just under 1.5 stone)crusader wrote:I'm not sure that I've seen a HW with skinnier calves than Wilder.

Stivern to win the early rounds with Wilder doing little other than throw the odd hopeful bomb.
Stivern to survive a few hairy moments in the mid rounds and drop a couple rounds, but wilder will punch himself out trying to find the finish and his lack of 12 round experience will lead to stiverne taking the last few rounds to take the fight 115-112, Stiverne down once in the 5th.

Completely serious mate. Not sure my detailed round for round plan for the fight will pan out as i've said but it seems a possible series of events.TheLeprechaun wrote:davie wrote:I'm going to be controversial here and predict a 12 rounder where 2 guys are a little gunshy being over cautious due to the other guys power.

I don't know whether or not you're being serious but I thought I was the only one who sees a 12 rounder here. They are not going to be taking risks with each others power. Stiverne will be waiting for Wilder to commit and meanwhile Wilder will be cognizant of not committing too much and getting countered. Meanwhile Wilder will be marginally winning the rounds. I don't really see fireworks in this one.
Certainly true when it comes to *judging* we see some awful, awful decisions from the US (who of course don't have a monopoly on that).cold187 wrote:Judges are not needed that's for sure
The referee has the power for an early stoppage for Wilder
I hope they given the champion a fair chance, just like they gave arreola a chance despite being on wobbly legs
Definitely a chance of a stinking premature stoppage.
