Has any of you watched GGG vs Stevens fight? Curtis hit Golovkin multiple times FLUSH and Gennady didnt even Flinch..

And Curtis has more Power than Lee thats a fact.

No way Lee knocks out GGG EVEN if he lands clean shots

A better question is what is a chance of Lee knocking Golovkin out. I would say, it is 3% or so. Technically, it is still "yes", but practically, it is "no".

Technically its probably no aswell. GGGs chin is damn good, and Lee's power isn't something special. Before GGG gets knocked out by Lee, my grandma is knocking me out with a left-right combination.

Because there was as sure as hell no chance Geale would knock Golovkin out no matter how many times he landed clean (and he did - flush - prior to being knocked out).

Golovokin is WIDE open to a number of shots and facing a relative middleweight giant (6'2) with real reach advantages and genuine power (plus the fighting heart of being a cousin of Tyson Fury) should make this a really interesting match up.

Yet I've not heard anyone talk about this potential fight with any interest.

Mainly because it's a mismatch. GGG would knock him spark out within 4 rounds, easily.

When Golovkin was supposed to fight Lee in April everybody thought that it was a huge mismatch. Now after two KO wins, people are thinking that he is a danger to GGG

This is true. People are fickle sometimes and they can go to extremes. Everyone is knocking Thurman now after he didn't knock out Bundu, before that to a lot of people he was the second coming. Now, after Andy Lee has delivered a couple of KO's he is suddenly a much better fighter than he was previously. He isn't. It's about levels and Golovkin would absolutely destroy Lee.

I've watched the GGG/Stevens fight a few times and completely agree with you. Stevens landed several huge left hands in that fight and GGG was never in trouble. GGG was definitely weary of Steven's left hand the whole fight and was still able to press the fight and get the KO while avoiding it. I do disagree with Steven's having more power than Lee though. Lee just knocked out two high quality opponents. Stevens doesn't have KO's against anyone noteworthy.

If you take a look at most of Lee's KO's, they always occur in the middle of a wild exchange in which his opponent is on the attack and defense is out the window. He sits on that right hand and puts everything into it, lights out. I really hope that we don't see this fight before GGG can fight some others first. GGG is now 32 years old...He's got to start getting bigger fights now because skills erode quickly after 32. I wish we had more time with him because he's so great for boxing.

Sure, anybody can knock out anybody on a given night. But I don't think GGG is gonna go lights out with one right hook, as nasty as it is. Those Khazaks are tough as nails.....I'm talking those big ones, like railroad spikes. Lee should stay away from GGG for the meantime. Go after Cotto, get a few tough wins before going at Gennady.

This is a pointless thread. Audley Harrison had the power to KO David Haye if he landed flush. However, he would have needed to have thrown a punch.

Lee has won a title, in a fight which he was set to lose, but he caught Korobov flush. GGO can be knocked out, but you have to connect correctly to do it.

Andy Lee would get brutalized and stopped inside 3 rounds.

I don't think he would, but Lee could knock Golovkin out, he carries the power to do it, but whether he would land the big shot before Golovkin is another matter.

Cotto will not fight Lee. Even Golovkin is not good enough for that "super star".

I think Haymon will want one of his guys to take the belt from Lee.
