Kovalev is better, and he is keeping busy with good opponents. Stevenson is taking his foot off the gas. I would be happy to see Krusher put him to sleep.

Down and out against Boone, down against Fonfara, and briefly rocked against George, though none of these were ESPN fights.

Stevenson's just another guy who has benefited from a lackluster LH division.
Did you see him get blasted to the canvas by so-so puncher Fonfara?
And how 'bout being nearly decapitated and stopped by career journeyman Darnell Boone?

How did you miss these? The china is obviously tinkling.

Short Answer:
People like Kovalev, people don't like Stevenson.

Long Answer:
I think Kovalev should be favored 60/40, because he has kept his momentum going by staying active against against better competition. He might be better than Stevenson, but Adonis gets less respect than he deserves because of his past. Think about it, many of the same people who tell you Stevenson is bum because he lost to Boone would tell you that Amir Khan and David Haye are great. It seems that those two guys can become totally different fighters but Stevenson is still a bum ... the BIAS.
