I agree with this assessment. The things guys who've beaten Wlad have had in common is that they were bigger guys & could punch. Bryant has neither of those things going for him.

Ross Puritty, 6'3, 250lbs, 22KO's in 24wins
Corrie Sanders, 6'4, 242lbs, 28KO's in 38wins (although I'd say his KO ratio doesn't do his power justice)
Lamon Brewster, 6'2, 243lbs, 26KO's in 29wins

meanwhile

Bryant Jennings, 6'3, 222lbs, 10KO's in 19wins

I don't believe its a feasible strategy to outbox Wlad unless you got comparable dimensions (6'6, 245-250lbs) & power (53KO's in 63wins).

Tyson, Deontay or Bermane I could see an argument for upsetting Wlad, but I don't see much of a possibility that Bryant is capable of something like this. More power to him if he can though.

Very often, old fighters lose to younger, talented, ambitious boxers.

While the above statement is true, it is most likely not, in this particular case.
But considering who the OP is, I can certainly see how his anti-Klitschko wishful thinking would lead him to this conclusion.
Plus, if he predicts a Wlad loss every time from here on out, he's likely to be right eventually.
Then he can do his happy-dance and say "I told you so!".

Wlad KO/TKO sending Jennings fro the Contender Coach to the Taxi Driver Stand
People were overrating Haye (and still do) but Jennings is actually a better all-round fighter.

Jennings wouldn't lose to an age 40 light heavyweight like Carl Thompson, nor be knocked down by a super middleweight like Lolenga Mock.

People are underestimating Jennings, he's a very good heavyweight. He's always training and working out, improving himself, staying in the best possible physical condition (while so many other HWs like Andy Ruiz are disgracefully lazy and fat).
Haye was inexperienced against Thompson who had been a cruiserweight for 12 years. From what I have seen I don't think Jennings anywhere close to being better than Haye was........ but it seems he will get his chance.

I'll admit I was a huge Haye fan from Mormeck up to the Wlad fight ( couldn't stand the fact he fought Audley though) and convicned he would ruin Wlad at the time :KO:

Don't forget a below average Haye after a year out smashed Chisora which Vitali didn't even come close to a few months earlier.

Indeed.
I like Jennings. He's going to have had a solid pro career when it's all said and done.
But from Wlad, he's going to get the pizza-face that Haye ordered ahead of time and then ran from.
Err, I mean, his toe. Yeah, that's the ticket. Haye had a toe problem. He tweeted it, even.
Sounds legit.

Jennings down 3 times in the third. Comes out looking worried in the fourth and as soon as Wlad lets his hands go, the referee steps in as the towel is simultaneously thrown in by his corner.

we spend the next week on here discussing how poor Klitschkos resume is and that he still isn't top 5 in the heavywieght ATG list

Jennings better than Haye? :lol

He's just an opponent to look good against for the TV network on Wlads return to the States. Wlad will take him apart, unless of course he gets old overnight.
It's all building towards Wlad v Stiverne/Wilder.

It'll be target practice for Wlad.
Don't hang your hopes on Jennings, an undefeated guy who hasn't beaten anyone, save the overrated Mike Perez.

Just a stay busy bout for the champ, while waiting for bigger game.
Jennings wouldn't make it out of round 2 against Wilder.
He'll be fortunate to survive 5 against Klitschko.

Wladimir is getting older and he's never been invincible. Jennings is a quick, athletic, physically fit, technically-skilled and ambitious young heavyweight with a 3" reach advantage over Klitschko.

I think Bryant Jennings is just reaching his prime in 2015 and he will upset Klitschko to become world heavyweight champion.
Are you trying to prove that you aren't racist ? I'm not convinced.

When Jennings is aggressive, his punches have a devastating effect. Remember how the Szpilka and Lyakhovich fights ended?

He does have enough power to knock Wlad out, but I think like the poster above said, he'll win by close decision, perhaps MD or SD.
His chances of winning a decision over W. Klitschko are .0000001%. Literally.

This fight will be a clear victory for Klitschko. The division's current top fighter is far, far, far above the rest of the inhabitants at Heavyweight. That's just the way it is.

Jennings is getting KO'ed inside 8. The only way he lasts longer is if Wlad carries him and holds him up with clinches.

The gulf in experience is VAST. And then there's the difference in skills. Wladimir makes himself very, very hard to hit... period. It'll be a clinic. Calvin Brock Part II.

No. I know a lot of people hate Wladimir Klitschko because they are racists who feel the heavyweight champion should be an African-American, but I'm not one of them. I have respect for boxers of all races from all over the world.

I just think Wladimir's getting old at 39 and Jennings is a very good young heavyweight whose time has come.

Jennings is nowhere near as skilled as Klitschko, neither technique nor athleticism. Plus Klitschko is stylistically all wrong for Jennings. Wide points or stoppage win for the champ.

Jennings isn't ready for this shot yet, but i appreciate it's hard to say no when the champ comes calling.

Jennings has the potential to be a top player in the division for years to come, i just don't see him as ever being THE guy. he does a lot pretty well but nothing spectacular. This generations Tony Thompson is my guess.

Wilder hasn't beat anyone either...no one on the level of Mike Perez anyway.

Jennings ko's szpilka and beat Perez(close but on paper has the W)

Alot of the top fighters would be 32(32) if they faced wilders opponents.

What are people gonna say when in next 2 yeas Vladimir beats
1. Jennings
2. fury
3. wilder/stiverne (maybe povetkin if he wbc champ)
4. Glazkov

....?Gerald Washington....breazedale....browne...ruiz jr.

The same as they said after he beat Haye, Povetkin & Pulev (Each of whom is still IMHO better than any of the names listed 1-4 above)

The only way I see Jennings winning against Wlad is by a DQ ( too much holding and hugging on Wlad's part ). But I doubt this would even happen against light hitting Jennings.

Jennings is a novice of 19 fights. His best wins were a TKO of Szpilka and a narrow split decision over Mike Perez, neither of whom are huge talents. He doesn't have great power and has no experience fighting a skilled boxer who towers over him. His people must be crazy throwing him in against Klitschko at this stage of his career. The only benefit is the information he will gather in losing to probably the best heavyweight around at the moment; use it as a learning experience to help him evolve as a boxer and hope he doesn't get his brain scrambled.

Jennings is a good heavyweight with good size and good style. It would be really interesting to see him fight someone like Stiverne or Pulev. However, Wlad just got done breaking his foot off in Pulev's ass, and is definitely not ripe for a defeat anytime soon.

Which skilled and towering boxer would prepare him for Klitschko? Thompson? Fury? Ustinov? Browne?

His people know exactly what they are doing; trying to fight for the title, which is the whole point of boxing.

ANYONE vs Klitschko = TOO SOON, maybe after 10 more years

Jennings is a top 7 Heavyweight and arguably the best American heavyweight.
He will not beat Wladimir. Hw will be on the back foot and try counter like Haye.

as for 19 fights no matter, just proves how many you have to win to get into top 5. I think jennings gets iced by pulev, povetkin, fury etc.

but he beats every other american heavyweight
