The standard might plummet, but the fun would only be beginning. I don't see the big deal with Wlad losing if it were to happen. He's gonna be gone either by retiring or losing soon any damn way. It'd just be a better passing of the torch if someone KO'd him. I mean look at 147. Floyd is WAY above the other guys there. When Floyd is gone (either by retirement or losing) that division is gonna get a whole lot more interesting too. 168 would be more interesting without Andre Ward (lol even though he ain't exactly there now, but I mean he is still the #1 168lber & the #2 guy would really be about the #5 guy, with #2 thur #4 being vacant, if we were ranking by true talent).

And idk about being "devastated" when anyone loses lol. I think thats a bit dramatic if you'd feel that why if Wlad got KO'd & thats why you're bringing that up. Shocking...okay I can see that.

The obsession with certain fighters on here cannot be denied and im in no doubt if say Mayweather was beat then "devastated" would be an apt description,i dont need to name names its obvious but some would be in denial(he was robbed if it was on the scorecards) some flaky fans would drop him like a brick and move on to the next big thing,either way people can be blind to the facts

Ive got favourite fighters myself of course but im not sad enough to try and discredit every other boxer on the planet to favour my favourites worth

I agree with the HW scene being more interesting when Wladimir moves on but eventually we'll all get pissed of with the poor standard we're witnessing and if Klitschko retires as champ,i can see the fans demanding him comeback to pull the HW scene out the doledrums in 5 years time

It will be more competitive when Wlad's away but i'd rather see Barcelona FC put on a masterclass against someone than watch 2 crap teams play each other just coz its competitve,at the top level i want to see class,if it cant be from both men then 1's better than none

I don't think the division is THAT crap I guess then. And I think you are underrating the competitive angle. A lot of fans seem like they'd rather see two chubby guys fighting in a phone booth than two world class fighters in the ring (I don't think either of us are in that camp, but I think its the reality). I also think if a guy like Tyson can become the man it'll enhance the HW division's popularity more than Wlad has done in a decade. Everyone will be wanting to see Tyson get KTFO. He'll be the Floyd Mayweather of HW's.

I'd like to see Bermaine Stiverne KOd because he is a Don King fighter which means he talks more than he fights.

I don't dislike Fury, but do think a KO would humble him somewhat, and make him work harder and possibly be better. He is entertaining. I think due to his personality and size he has an even bigger future as an actor after boxing...at least as a big Viking swinging a giant sledgehammer or something.

Canelo is way to cocky for his age, and a KO would do him good too.

Quillen and Stevenson will get theirs if or when they quit dodging the best in their division.

Khan, I do dislike, and his wobbly rubber leg dance is quite entertaining.
