ITV got bitten in the 90's when Frank took off for SKY followed by Eubank and his bum of the month tour. It looks like all the massive fights in this country will now be PPV rather than free on ITV which is a great shame as they get buried away instead of 10million + watching

BBC certainly couldn't entertain showing professional boxing again until we found a female ref , and I'm not going to even discuss the 3 judges.!!!

spot on Tony bout the bum of the month an Eubank tour , how they ever got sanctioned as world title fights is beyond me , if I remember right it was the WBO in it's early days

I spoke personally to the ITV sports commissioner about this very subject last year. He said he loves boxing and wants it on the channel but the promoters can't seem to put on shows that don't lose the channel money (for various reasons. . . . ).
The forecast is bleak.
