Excellent ref, first saw him on Sportsnight having trouble with Bobby Frankham, all these years later still going strong. You can see he admires the fighters and is a fair man, a big loss.

Bloody hell , Sportsnight - I remember watching that when I was a lad on a black and white portable tv

End of an era really! When Francis & oconnell retired they left you in a league of your own & knowbody really rivalled you until foster & I suppose Thomas was a top ref also.
All the best in this new combat thing which sounds abit unclear & if your half as good at it as Reffin you'll be great.

What a shame. Richie Davis was, without any doubt, one the best ref's ever on the British circuit.
