True, and it's none of my business who Brook is as a person or what he does with his life, but it's peculiar if he doesn't want to find the guy and press charges.

What do people want him to do? Whatever he was doing at the time, he's reported the incident to the police and an investigation is ongoing, albeit with the limited resources available. Is that not enough? He can't name, shame and go into more detail than he has publicly for what should be obvious reasons - even to the hard of thinking.
