No, it's still there. But it's just Graham Houston monthly in all reality. It sells for his American stuff. So, as you say, there's a real opening for a British monthly.

Boxing Monthly just isn't what people want or need anymore. I think it's days are numbered unless they make some major changes, but I'm not even sure what those changes should be.

Well, to be honest, I think any monthly which concentrates on fight reports, previews, and commentary which is very contemporary is fucked, people can get all that shit from the internet, rather than a magazine which is well and truly out of date when it comes out.

We got stung with the Calzaghe fight preview, but luckily, the majority of our content wasn't up to the minute stuff, and we could fill in the blanks elsewhere.

the reason why i dont buy any boxing magazines...to date. When uppercut hits the stores....i'll ch-check it out.

Bennie, we have an American columnist, Frank Lotierzo, I will probably cover some myself, especially if I am back in Vegas this year, which i hope to be, and we have some content from maxboxing who we did a deal with.

Things didn't run too smoothly at the show, it was great in terms of promotion, but there were some issues which prevented sales happening, which I won't go into here for obvious reasons.

I will be sending out a press release shortly to all the major websites and newspapers etc, on the launch. Looks like we may be on the shelves sooner rather than later according to our editor, as it looks like a distribution deal may have been struck.

We will be at the York Hall show on the 25th doing a further launch of the magazine and of course selling copies, anyone who is attending, look out for us.

Is that Eugene Maloneys show? Looks a good card - I fancy Symonds to get stopped against James in a cracker.

Not sure how Pat Mullings is going to look after all this time though.

Patrick has been sparring Scott Harrison. Should be reasonably sharp.

Yes Symonds has the upper hand of James I think, Jennings must have taken something out of James in their contest, and Symonds looked good last time out

Wish you luck James and hope to see an issue of your new magazine in the high streets as soon as possible. I think we need somebody new to challenge Boxing News and Boxing Monthly and I hope it works out for you. You have some strong views about boxing are they going to be in your magazine? Also is your magazine going to be monthly or weekly?
