I can see Fury being floored early then coming back to win

If Fury remains patient and keeps his boxing head on I think he would KO Wilder.
Wilder didn't impress me one bit and tbh im not sure his opponent was much better than chisora.
Wilder was swinging like a windmill and Fury could take full advantage of this (if he was in shape) Fury all the way! in fact I would even give Price a shout with his power as Wilder is wide open. Paper Champion!

Interesting fight for certain, I think it will be a bit of a chess match in the main but evidentually one fighter will have to go for it. Fury impressed me vs Chisora, Wilder demonstrated he can also fight a controlled fight behind a good jab, both against slow plodding and clueless fighters with little variety (something was very definately wrong with Chisora that night).

I would say it will start off as a chess match and a battle of the jab, who can fight tall the best. Fury seems to have the size advantage and quite a reach advantage and for that reason I'd give him the edge.

Both career best wins have come in fights where the opponent has dissapointed, so it is quite difficult to judge.

Never mind who wins, just make the fight. It'll be a cracker.

Think Wilder, being the more explosive of the two, will catch Fury and bomb him out at some point.

I think Fury by any means necessary.

Stiverne's excuse was that he wasn't 100% last night, I think that is partly due to the shots he took mid-rounds.

Wilder certainly deserved the victory but I don't think he has much more than he showed last night.

Why didn't he throw a charge again the same as he threw at the end of round 2(the falling tussle)? He also looked to really slow down late on. He's nowhere near the level of Wlad and even Pulev or Povetkin would prove a serious test right now.

Fury v Wilder in the UK has all the markings of a proper HW fight. Bring it on!

Tough to call. Wilder has an excellent and very sharp jab, a powerful straight right to the head, good reach, and a much sharper defence than I thought he would (though how much that had to do with Stiverne's sheer lack of speed is not clear). Fury lacks Wilder's power and probably some of his handspeed, but he looks to have considerably better stamina and a much higher workrate than Wilder - there were rounds last night in which Wilder was just backing up and backing up without throwing anything to discourage Stiverne. He also has a lot more variety to his work - Wilder did very little bar jab and throw the right hand until he was comfortable that Stiverne was too knackered to pose a real threat.

Basically, the fight would depend on whether Wilder can catch Fury early and often enough with his straight right to finish Fury off. That is a distinct possibility - he has fast enough hands to make life very difficult for Fury, who showed vs Cunningham that he can be outjabbed at distance even by much shorter men. If Fury survives, he will eventually figure out how to avoid the right hand, and Wilder's then going to have to deal with someone taller than him who throws considerably more punches from a much wider variety of angles. That is much more of a challenge than Stiverne posed after the early rounds.

Basically, Wilder early-mid rounds or Fury via UD after some dodgy moments.

Fury to get off the floor to win, Haye and Joshua beat Wilder too and I'd give Price a decent punchers chance too.

This is one of the most interesting fights there. It has to happen.

I predict: Tyson comes off the floor in round 2 and Kos Wilder in 7

Wilder to storm Fury and win early. Wilder tried to take Stiverne out and when it didn't happen he paced himself for a points victory. Give Wilder credit for his plan B.

I have yet to see the fight but I take my hat off to Wilder for winning. I had money on him losing. Sounds like Stiverne was pretty average though. Still, a great win for him and eclipses any win on Tysons record.

That was an old and tired Vitali that a pumped-up Chisora went the distance with. Against Fury in their rematch he was completely lacking in fire. Now that the devil in Chisora is gone the fire's been dampened with it. Shame.

Fury by mid to late stoppage.

Wilder by quick KO.

Chisora was about as mobile as an anvil, and as quick as shite through a funnel though - it's like he was moving according to the geological clock. I've seen glaciers present a less static target.

In short, I'm saying he was very very slow - and therefore easy to outbox - Wilder is a lot quicker.

I don't want to post a poll because I want to know everyone's thoughts. Whether the fight would take place in America or the UK, what's the best advantage??

Wilder vs Price would be good. Someone would have to go in that one surely.

Wilder probably has the quickest 1-2 in the division. And probably the most powerful. Some of those right hands were blasting through the gloves of stiverne, who is now couped up in a hospital bed by the way.

Wilder is being very overhyped, reminds me of the hype around Michael Grant, Jeff Lacy etc... Americans desperate for a new hero in the division.

Fury wins comfortably, although I fully expect Wilder to dodge him now he's with Al Haymon, try to milk some easy money. Fury to fight Klitschko in the next 12 months.

classic jamesmcdonnell right there, great burst of activity. This is what the man is capable of, but he only shows it in flashes!

Well, let's just say he has more chance of beating Wilder than he does of beating Klitschko.

He may well be getting overrated but Grant was exposed by Lewis, and Lacy was exposed by Calzaghe. I assure you now, Fury is neither Lewis nor Calzaghe and never will be. No shame in that of course as we are talking about two great fighters, but just because Wilder is getting overhyped it doesn't mean any Tom, Dick or Harry can roll up and expose him.

I agree Wilder will be facing a list of suitable Haymon opponents. Still, his win over Stiverne has proved a few doubters, including myself, wrong.
