He's timing and punch picking were second too none I've a good excuse for the massive slap but that's another story.i was feet away last night & I'm telling you he was proper banging in clever shots. I know how good he is but I was still double impressed
I noticed you watching engrossed Johnny

Good insight from Danny and Johnny - how does Walsh compare to Smith ?

I never boxed smith, but for my money Walsh is literally top drawer and I'd back him against anyone in Britain

Very impressive performance.
Where does he go next? I think he is now above domestic level.
Well troy james is his mandatory depends if he wants to try and win the lonsdale belt outright 2 more defences. Great performance last night.
Seems like he will be going for the Lonsdale outright...

To be fair to Joe, he was completely gone after that second big shot (the one to the head).
Joe is sadly becoming a younger version of his brother: A lot of heart but no head movement. Not sure that training with his John is the best idea.

Joe isn't a come forward fighter, that's what his brother has tried to make him into for that fight.
Respect john as fighter but silly trying to make his bro fight like him.
He has amazing boxing skills so why would u just tell him to apply pressure to a stronger fighter!
Agree with Johnny boy Liam beats everyone in Britain comfortably.
So glad he didn't stay at lightweight; he is a much better super feather.
Be good to see Ryan and Michael bakc in the ring as we'll.

I've always liked Liam Walsh he's a class act. Classy and rarely wastes a shot. Being from West of Scotland I'm a big Burns fan and I was a bit worried when it was announced he would be fighting Walsh tbh. That would've been a very dangerous fight for Ricky and a hiding to nothing IMO.
