Billy Joe Saunders is 21-0, mandatory for a world title fight. When did he 'got find out'.
In the amateurs, yes, he was terrible at the Olympics but to be fair, our performance in China was a mix bag.
What i said was-
"Personally I think they all might get found out at the top level and theres far too much hype getting piled on guys like these by Sky and Matchroom.
As with Frankie Gavin, James Degale and BJS 4 years earlier."
I was referring to them getting hype from the promoters and broadcasters like the olympians before them. Not being found out.
the 2008 class were going to rule the world, yet even with a 4 year head start not one has had a title fight let alone laid there hands on a belt.
Now some are telling us that Luke Campbell, Anthony Joshua, Agogo and C Smith will not only win titles but rule their respective divisions and I think we need to see through the hype and realise that these guys, albeit talented, have fought no one and have a lot to do to prove themselves before we start predicting p4p rated undisputed champion status.
We don't even know if they'll make it much past european level (see frankie gavin)
But to touch on your point, I don't think BJS is world class. I will be surprized if he dethrones any current champion and I'd pick Martin Murray to be too much for him right now
