Did Kell Brook really earn it the 'hard' way?

Kelp did well in beating Porter in the States, he'd not shown that ability in any of his previous contests - he showed grit, ability and belief. His career previous to the Porter win was underwhelming and he'd not really ripped through a ton of contenders but he was steered expertly.

If your criteria for doing it the " hard way" is measured by what fighters were doing 30-40 years ago to earn a shot, then you might as well throw that system out the window because its just not the way anymore. Kell Brook has been a professional for more than 10 years. He's managed to stay unbeaten in 33 fights. His win over Porter was a legit victory over a world class opponent. His wins over Senchenko and a few of the others were reasonable feats. The man isn't the next thomas Hearns by any means, but he's a solid player in my mind.

Kell on the other hand is still fresh with a lot to prove. And strong as fornicate, he's got to be a biscuit away from Jr. Middleweight.

Kahn-Brook will be a scorcher, think Brooks straight right hand will end it late.
