As for me best prospect are:
In Heavyweight - Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker
In Cruiserweight - Oleksandr Usyk and Dmitry Kudryashov
In Light Heavyweight - Artur Beterbiev, Oleksandr Gvozdyk and maybe Egor Mekhontsev (he has good amateur career, but not impressed me as a pro yet)
In Super middleweight - Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez and Callum Smith looks good, but I have some questions, also should pay attention to Sergiy Derevyanchenko (in WSB he was one of the best fighters, and has a record 15-1 or something like that)
In Middleweight - Ievgen Khytrov and Ryoto Murata (they fought in the final of the World Championship 2011 as amateurs, and Khytrov won)
In Super welterweight - maybe Stanyslav Skorokhod (on 10th April will fight in Boxino semifinal), Taras Shelestyuk (has good amateur career - 2011 World champion, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist, but as a pro he fights with bad oppositions).
In Welterweight - Sadam Ali looks not bad.
In Super Lightweight - Amir Imam looks impressive, Jose Benavidez (has win over Mauricio Herrera), Frankie Gomez (has not fight for a long time, but he is very young).
In Lightweight - Ivan Redkach this year should have title shot for WBC belt, Felix Verdejo looks very impressive for his age
In Super featherweight - Adrian Estrella very young but has some huge wins in career, Oscar Valdez
In Featherweight- Vasyl Lomachenko became world champion in his 3 pro fight, and one of the best amateurs in history
In lower weights should be mentioned Naoya Ionue he looks fenomenal

I know it's hard to tell how good ams will do in the pros but I think commonwealth MW champ, Anthony Fowler (24) could be something special.

• ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (24 years old)

• Tyson Fury (26 years old)
• Naoya Inoue (21 years old)
• Juan Francisco Estrada (24 years old)
• Jessie Vargas (25 years old)
• Adrien Broner (25 years old)
• Leo Santa Cruz (26 years old)
• Adrian Estrella (23 years old)
• Jermell Charlo (24 years old)
• Scott Quigg (26 years old)
By the way, I’ve gone with world rating rather than potential, as it’s easier to justify... and I class young as any fighter that is 26 years old or under.

Great list, but I'd also add Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua to it. They're not ranked in the top 10 yet but will be very soon.
Good post. Totally agree, especially about Joshua. Kid can be Joe Louis if he respects the craft....

Jeff Horn (Heard Haymon was considering him as a may 24 opponent for Amir Khan)
Cameron Hammond
Rohan Murdoch
Cameron Hammond will be looking to add to his 12-0 record tomorrow night against Sedat Tasci. Tasci shouldn't trouble Hammond but hasn't been stopped. That will probably be Hammond's goal.

I've seen a young Russian welterweight who looked quality.
It was something like Ponomarev. Looks the real deal.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Vincent Feigenbutz (19 years old SMW interim WBA champ). want to see him vs Golovkin in future.

Daigo Higa REALLY impressed me earlier today. 19 year old power punching, pressure fighting Flyweight. Tough division but a win, in Thailand, against a previously unbeaten and totued foe showed a lot.

Also the WBO Inter-Continental Super Middleweight holder. An absolute shoe in to fight Abraham for the WBO strap surely

Anthony Joshua, he will not only rule the Heavyweight Division after Klitschko retires but will be the most watched man in Boxing
With guys like, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Erkan Teper, Joseph Parker, Artur Szpilka, Robert Helenius, Charles Martin, Gerald Washington, Dominic Breazeale, Luis Ortiz, Michael Hunter and many others talented upcoming heavyweight the division is going to be back alive, Joshua will attract a lot of attention to himself fighting all these guys especially with having the talent to beat them all.

I started watching boxing just cuz of Heavyweights, then it got boring so I moved on I love all boxing but I'm excited at what is happening at Heavyweight now that there will be some competition, but yes i like Heavyweights better then lower classes just didn't enjoy it much the past years.

Stretching the term young with Gonzalez (28), Crawford is 28 in September as well...Not old but I'd disagree on "young"

Not young because someone copied and pasted Ferg's post of what
he considers young....26 or under? Whatever
