Khan has probably ducked the most challenges in favor of softer competition over the past 2 years.

However, all of his victories are lauded as career redefining wins by the most delusional fanbase in the world.

Khan expects to skip over 7 or 8 fighters that would knock his ass out. He is really pathetic and the fans who support this type of logic only aid the decline of the sport by allowing bias to determine worthy "title" challengers.

Khan is probably even to going to duck Broner; a smaller fighter with a stationary style well suited for Khan's strengths.

Aye, I remember the adulation and veneration he received when he won his first title against Kotelnik and defended it against Salita. Not a word of criticism from anyone about the level of opposition or relevance of his first world title win!
then after coming back from defeat, when he fought Molina and Diaz, the world fell at his feet in awe of those fantastic wins

What are you fornicating talking about man?
I can't think of many who come in for more undue criticism, on here in particular (British & Irish board even more so), than Amir.

I'm a genuine fan, but even I can't make a positive post about Amir, without feeling I have to some sort of disclaimer at the end about his jaw or being a bit of a twat sometimes.

absolutely correct. broner is still ambitious and can land with power....good enough reasons for khan to avoid him. expect khan to dig up another corpse or face someone with malignaggiesque power.

I'm not a die hard Khan fan or anything but I do enjoy watching him fight over the years. His fights are always entertaining to me. With that said, I don't blame Khan waiting around for a payday fight instead of fighting these young guys in the division that have unimpressive fan following. Guys like Thurman, Porter or Maidana. Khan is on the crest of elite status and has the hand speed to matchup with Floyd or Manny. The fact that his chin is suspect, makes his fights even more exciting because you know that the fight can turn on a dime. I want to see Khan in there with the best and wouldn't mind paying to see it.

Amir Khan is evidently ducking 9-fight novice & household name Jeff Gorn. It's a disgrace these two haven't responded to the deafening clamour for this fight, & further brings the game into disrepute.

Uh, Horn, I mean, Horn.

Yeah.

BTW: Wlad Klitschko is a coward 'cos I called him out when I was drunk off my arse a couple years ago. Still hasn't got back to me. You can call me the Uncrowned People's Heavyweight Champ if you like, I don't mind.

Should be easy money and putting this novice in his place would not smear Khans already pretty rubbish record.

You're right! Multiple-time world belt-holder Amir Khan's cowardice in this instance is utterly revolting & beating a household name like Gorn would improve the quality of his thin, manufactured resumé by a factor of.. I dunno, ten or fifteen times? With a name like Gorn's on his record, the winner of Pac-Mayweather will surely turn to him next.

Just think, all those fights with Maidana & Kotelnik & Alexander & Collazo & Garcia & Peterson, fighting those nobodies just so he could duck Gorn. It's a disgrace.

As is Wlad continuing to duck me, I'm sure you'll agree.

I really can't see Khan taking on Gorn at this point in his career, even if it is a stay busy fight. Broner, like Alexander, is not a true full 147lber at least in my opinion. I would like to see him fight Broner though just for entertainment value. One of them even commented to the other that they could be the co-main event for May vs Pac! Both are very good boxers, but not the sharpest tools in the shed. (would love to have one of their paychecks though)

Maidana is available, Bradley, even Andrade at 154 since Khan is willing to fight Cotto.

Khan doesnt really duck for me , he wil take the beat deal on the table.. it happens all the time but it seems people label ducking, I would call it common sense to follow the money, as we are all to aware boxing is a tough business and can change your life rapidly.

he isnt going to fight Brook because the better money is the US and not here in the uk. anyway that fight needs to be treated like a good wine and be allowed to mature.

My sense of humor is fine. I just have a low tolerance for stupid people that can't seem to figure out basic spelling and grammar. It really helps other people understand what you are trying to say.

Hey Amir, you are a liar. The best deal on the table would be Brook, then Broner, but you'll probably fight a guy like Algieri for less money and prestige than you'd get for Broner or Brook. That is the definition of ducking. You are picking an opponent that guarantees less money and respect.

Also, the whole maturing the Brook fight is bullshit. It can't get any bigger unless something impossible happens like Brook beating Manny and you beating Mayweather. If you want to fight guys like Alexander and Algieri fine, just don't try to convince us that you are ducking better opponents.

I'm assuming that you must be Amir Khan himself because I refuse to believe someone could be this much of a stooge.
