Ref is trying hard to gift him a stoppage but Gavin is refusing to accept it.

Put it on another post Hearn said he would be matched right to make him more exciting and slated Warren for the Skeete fight.
Waste of time this.

Ten rounds to nil but it's the excitement that's really been shut out.

I didn't mind the Skeete fight, as I thought it was a decent tactical back and forth. This is on another level of boring.

I think Frankie's next fight is well-matched though.

You should feel for Eddie. He found him a stiffest corpse in Europe and he still cant be bothered to take him out. How bad is Van Heerden I wonder.

So if you hurt your shoulder don't have a pointless fight and risk aggravating an injury and cancelling the fight in Birmingham

Poo fight, fair enough Gavin never dropped a minute but if he's as good as his talent suggests then he has to be dealing with guys like Mitic inside the distance,I actually thought Frankie looked a little flat, good defensively but his offence wasn't great

Did anyone else think Gavin looked unhealthy in that interview?
Does he normally look like that?

There really have been some god awful European title fights at this weight. Hopefully this guy is better than his padded record suggests. I aint saying it's a good fight by any stretch but you can't blame McDonnell for taking the fight as it gets him the European belt and quite a bit of leverage.
