He's got his senses and is about to receive a nice payday for fighting on a big bill in NYC. Don't fear for him too much!
Fully expect it to be over within 2 rounds though, unfortunately.

Yes we are but if Dallas wins then he'll fight Matt
1 thing Dallas has going for him is power so hopefully he'll show the yanks how its done

Because I made them aware of this. I brokered this deal. It is a no loss fight for Tom. My job was to sure the opportunity for Tom.

So (with respect to Tom who seems a decent lad) Martin's management put out a call for a chinny, one dimensional, semi retired, heavyweight who won't last two rounds and you thought

Indeed it seems you done your job well and got Tom a lucrative
'opportunity' but
'no loss fight' not sure about that Steve, Martin has 18 stoppages on his slate (admittedly against so so opposition) and all Tom's defeats (Zack Page apart) have been inside distance.
I hope I'm wrong but the bloke could suffer a really horrible stoppage here.
(Could be worse I suppose you could have sent them the 'War Machine'

:) When I said no loss I meant that it would have no effect on Tom's career. He was due to fight Ali Adams for an area title and will still be able to do that whatever the result. Yes its a hard task for Tom but he has everything to gain (however unlikley on paper that it) and nothing to lose. Martin is very good but no superstar and his record is padded but obviously a very warm favorite to beat Tom.

I agree Martin is no superstar, watch some of his bouts or highlights, actually made me think Tom has a decent shot if he prepares well and goes to win.
