I'd expect theyre just announcing Degale v Dirrell will be on Sky then.

Thought it maybe the Smith/Ward announcement earlier but have since seen Hearn tweet someone that the announcements today are tv announcements for fights already confirmed.

Loves a good announcement does Eddie

I don't recall the WBC top 10 at super middleweight ever being as weak and uninspiring as it has done this year. It's an all-time low.

The current champion has a draw with Sakio Bika. Groves lost 2 of his last 4 by KO, Chavez Jr has just been TKO'd Saturday, Lucian Bute ko'd by froch and defeated by Pascal, 8. Badou Cack was sparked out by 9. Derek Edwards (surely he'd be above him?) and as much as I like and rate Callum Smith, he's only boxed for 2 years as a pro, he's in there at no4.

1 .- George Groves (GB) SILVER
2 .- Gilberto Ramirez (Mexico) NABF
3 .- Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (Mexico)
4 .- Callum Smith (GB) INTL
5 .- Lucian Bute (Canada)
6 .- Sakio Bika (Cameroon)
7 .- Alexander Brand (Colombia) LATINO
8 .- Badou Jack (Gambia/Sweden)
9 .- Derek Edwards (US)
10 .- Vincent Feigenbutz (Germany)
11 .- Christopher Rebrasse (France)
12 .- Schiller Hyppolite (Haiti/Canada)
13 .- Zac Dunn (Australia)
14 .- Julius Jackson (Virgin Islands)
15 .- Rogelio Medina (Mexico)

Wow. Can't disagree with anything you've said there. It is a pretty poor list.

Just proof that sanctioning bodies rankings aren't worth the paper they're written on!

I think we knew it would be some more Hearns spin & I think he thinks that us the fans cant get enough of him & Sky & get all excited when he anounces an announcement!
The way he tells us that something is PPV he says it like we should all go out & celebrate that he is charging us some extra money to watch something that we already to pay to view.
The day when something vaguely interesting comes out of his mouth will be the day I start actually caring about him.

So Eddie thinks that Haymon allowing sky to show the Degale fight is a major announcement?
Fact is Hearn fcked the negotiations and is very lucky that Warrren probably couldn't be arsed to bid for the rights or make noises that he might be interested which would have made sky/matchroom pay more.

Degale definitely gets a decent vote at world class UK fighter I'm least interested in

Ha, how true. No need for uneasy alliances with UKIP or SNP. Surely he'd win by a chunky landslide.

Which part?

The only fact part I was referring to was Eddies failure to get a deal done with Haymon in the
negoatiation stage despite making all the right noises that he was going to do the business- we know what happened with the purse bid which anybody with a brain including eddie knew he had no chance at winning (pure guess work but im pretty certain that is why he bid over 1m US to try to save face)

If you are refering to the Warren part I did use the word probably as it was just my opinion based on reading the situation. I was expecting Frank to wind up Hearn by suggesting BN might be interested in he Degale fight but I never heard him mention it- I could be wrong here.

As a BN subscriber and also having sky I couldnt personally give a monkeys which chanel its on.

Absolute twaddle you'd have been crowing from the hills for the next 10 years had BN got it.

You are a very boring individual.

Maybe your master should be arsed to bring us some relevant fights for our 12 pounds a month.

Yes I would have found it very amusing most definatley - but I wouldnt have been crowing about it. I would rather FW concerntrated on trying to land Klitchko-Fury and Lee - Saunders then waste time battling matchroom with silly point scoring.

No, but I wish it was, it's a much better fight than either announced today
