Yes, Les Moonves intervened again and this contract was signed. Amateur hour. That's what happens when clowns run the show

He did, though who knows if right or wrong. But no excuse for mailing this 2.5 weeks before the fight, it's just bizarre.

According to ESPN, Pacquiao posted a copy of the term sheet on his Facebook page briefly before he deleted it. Someone took a screen shot of the term sheet. It showed that Mayweather Promotions at the lead promoter for the event. It also had him as the lead negotiator with the MGM Grand.

Being left out as one of the signatories on the contract means Arum and his Top Rank Promotions won’t be able to take part in the in some of the decisions that go into the fight. I guess that means that Arum and Top Rank won’t be able to share in some of important decisions that otherwise will be decided by the lead promoter for the fight, which in this case is Mayweather Promotions.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe sees it as a control issue for Arum. Ellerbe says that Arum agreed to the contract months ago, and now he’s not willing to accept what he agreed to already.

No, Pac posted page 1, not a copy of the whole term sheet. Either way, Arum could have issues with the many particulars and not the thrust of the agreement. But his main issue is probably having to take backseat to these incompetents who send out MGM contracts for signing 2.5 weeks before the fight.

Consider the fact that it is Bob Arum and that should sum up everything for you. I can't understand why people don't see that it has been Arum trying to kill this fight all along.

Bub Arum was probably hoping the fight would get delayed, so he could get busy getting that stadium built, and giving Manny's cut some more time to heal. :OhYes:

• The fight will sell out the MGM Grand
• The fighters themselves will be paid
• HBO & Showtime will televise the bout
• More than 3 million US homes will purchase the PPV
• The amount of income generated by countries outside America will be phenominal
• The fight itself will have a winner, but will be controversial in nature, due to the economic motivation to orchestrate a rematch
• Intellectually-challenged individuals will continue “buy” into all the nonsense rumours

People need to relax and ignore all the nonsense we’re hearing from the media and simply enjoy May 2nd for what it is, which is a boxing match plain and simple. Nothing less, nothing more.
And if that occurs the interest would-be so great it would need to be a stadium fight.
