According to the Dudley News Paddock/Truman is off the card, but they also have Bowater v Jenkinson as on so I'm not sure how good their info is

Yeah saw that myself was told trueman pulled out and andy keates stepping in but dont know if thats gunna happen now. Paul holt stepped in for bowater against Jenkinson

Yeah thats what I mean they seem behind on the Bowater/Holt news so not sure how correct the Paddock/Truman stuff is as not seen anything anywhere else. Still a very good card, that Paddock Truman fight seems destined not to happen doesn't it.

yeah trueman pulled out a couple times now i was told about 10 days ago about that but not seen anything put out about by pj.. Luke not had much luck trying to defend his title. I speak to holts trainer alot his well up for it.

Paddock is off the show express and star done article saying his been ill with norovirus. I had a message off him yesterday saying he was gutted fight was off with truman pulling out but no mention of being ill himself. Still a good looking show tho.

Very interested in this fight, very disappointed that I won't see it.

Great show one of the best I've done in sometime, all three title fights were great fights each worth the ticket price on their own

Welborn v Aston was very close have to say I had it a draw but if I had to pick a winner would have gone with Aston to be honest. Mate next to me had Aston by one and another mate who was there had Aston up by two. Aston dropped Welborn to the body in the 5th, but fairplay to Jason he regrouped and came on really strong in the later rounds. Really good very close fight.............rematch? Yes please!

Holt Jenkinson was fight of the night! Some really good work from both fighters, neither seeming to stop for breath throughout the whole fight! While most rounds were pretty competitive Jenkinson did always seem to get the better of the majority. Often some of Holts best work (and where he looked to be getting back into it) was followed by a really good flurry from Jenkinson. Holt was down in the 2nd although didn't look to be anything really troubling. Definite contender for Midlands fight of the year!

Robinson v Davis was a really good competitive fight too with both seeming to forget about theyre defense for a lot of the fight! Neither wanting to take a step back. Davis started well and did some of the better work in the earlier rounds. From round 4 onwards Robinson did start to take over though with Davis still making every round competitive. Robinson got the stoppage in the 9th with a relentless period of pressure just after Davis had answered the count after being dropped with an uppercut.

Tyler Denny got a a win against Andrew Robinson controlling the pretty much all 4 rounds. Mano Lee scored a shut out too, beating Kevin McCauley. As you'd imagine McCauley never made it easy for Lee but Lee kept to his boxing for the win. An impressive win for me for only his second fight McCauley is one of those journeymen that when he turns it one could quite easily get to area title level. Les Byfield started slowish but then picked it up to get the win over Matt Seawright over 6 2s.

Great event, the two title fights at the top of the card were two of the best fights I've seen in recent memory. The midlands scene is really flourishing right now.
