The original plan is to try and grab a few hours kip on saturday late afternoon to early evening. I say this every time a big boxing even comes up though and have never managed it.
Doesn't sound like a bad plan that I might hit a carvery for Saturday lunch pile it in then sleep it off for a couple of hours :TU:

Undercard is dog shit so I'll set the alarm for 04:30.

x 2.

Massively disappointed with the undercard. I know Mayweather-Pacquiao will get the buys but they could have had at least some semi-decent fights to build the hype for the main event. :(

Staying up and the fact that Lomachenko is on the undercard is a nice bonus, so I want to see his fight.

If the main event is a stinker, the lack of undercard will be magnified x10.

They should have but a proper AAA fight in chief support to this, one that would catch fire. But they haven't.

Greedy pigs from top to bottom across this whole promotion. Lawsuits against little web streams, HBO/SHO have even employed teams in each major city in the States, to go into pubs and secretly check they have the relevant commercial $5,000 - 15,000 PPV broadcast and not the $99 one.

I could understand its efforts on a year round basis, but it's all laid on for this one occasion. Every man concerned is looking to milk every dime out of the event.

The fact barely any fans got a ticket, despite travelling to lots of their fights leading up to this, is just plain wrong. Instead they are skinning people alive for a ticket, people are spending months and months of their working class wages to sit at the back of a hall to root for their respective hero.

Whereas all the privileged shitbags just sit rattling their vulgar jewellery whilst wearing their shades in the main sections - despite knowing nothing about the sport.

Ask any of them to name who either Floyd or Manny beat to get their first title and 99.9% couldn't name one, let alone both.

After last night's 56 minute long "thanks" conference to advertise a 36 minute long fight, I don't want to read or watch anymore - except the weigh-in and then the first bell ringing.

I'm going to a wedding on the beach then back to a friends house for the fight. She lives smack on the edge of the Everglades and will probably start setting off fireworks after she's drunk

it ain't just them mate. i heard the LA Times boxing 'journalist' on the radio the other night. he could throw the name of Gennaro Hernandez out there but he clearly hadn't got the first fvcking clue about him or seen him fight at all. he was a 'rough tough brawler' apparently

I don't usually have mates up anymore unless its a big 'un like this so I invited a few mates up but all but one have other plans, they know they wont get away with yapping all night, even my mate whose still meant to be coming will call off no doubt so will probably end up watching it alone which is just fine by me

I'm gonna watch the whole card as always, might try and get an hour or 2,maybe get a few cans in incase i fancy a drink, maybe some other stuff :OhYes:

I've got a feeling the fight/walk ons won't start until between 5.30am-6.15am, meaning the fight might not end until gone 7am... If you are planning on an all nighter, best of luck :KO:

I'm hoping some sort of official time for the fight comes out. I mean, surely they must know.
Surely it won't be that late? I thought (hoped) it would be 5am start at the latest. What would 7am UK time be for the East & West coasts of America?

If it's after 6am, that means i'm going no beer and alarm
Las Vegas is 8 hours behind us, so 6am for us = 10pm for them. Can't see them putting it on any earlier.

If we get an official time, we can plan it better. Imagine getting up at 5am and it's round 6 or 7 haha

Did you see the Mexican beer guy, 'Should be good box fight'... and the thanking of everyone.. even Jesus got a mention. No buzz around the conference at all.

I felt like I'd wasted an hour of my life last night, just hope fight night isn't the same.

The only thing I could really take from it was how old Floyd was looking. In saying that, I can't imagine how those pulling all nighters will look come 6.30am

Just watched a bit of Mayweather-Marquez again today, forgot just how good Floyd was that night

I know that statement is irrelevant to this thread but I didn't want to play CS rules and start a new thread to announce it

I'm with Teddy Atlas and Freddie Roach on this one, with regards to Floyd's legs.
