Can't believe no one has commented on how he looks like a young Jim Royle !
I can't see the resemblance myself.

Was he a full time pro throughout his career or did he work a job? I'd imagine he'd have made enough to not have to work full time after he won the British and he'd have been able to buy his home most likely but I doubt he rolled about in 50's and 20's very often.

Looks like he has been rolling a few up though.

Probably made good money while he was fighting and from his first fight with Bobby Vanzie to fighting Khan I think he would have been a full time pro. But he won't have made anywhere near enough to retire off and when he retired he needed to find another way of earning, promoted a few shows, tried managing and training fighters and eventually made a comeback. At some point he will have fallen into dealing as a way of paying the bills.

A boxer from my area has just been done for dealing and dealt with very leniently by the courts and the board. His names dirt amongst the criminal fraternity.

He looks terrible now. Can only imagine how he's going to look in 2022 when he gets out.
He'll only end up doing 36-42 months. He looks like Rolf Harris' long lost love child in that picture!
This could be his chance to meet Rolf?

A lot of scruffy looking people about at the moment. The sooner big beards go out of fashion the better.

So, you are inferring that a person(s) unknown has been telling tales about another person allegedly telling tales?

Sounds like an episode of TOWIE to me.

No. I'm know the person and the facts. I'm not naming him, upsetting a lot of friends in my area just to proove a stranger wrong.

I don't know any of the gossip and don't care to. They gave the lad three years eight months which whilst close to the bottom of the sentencing range for Cat 2 lesser role intent to supply (if that's where the offence was placed) If it was a first offence and he was only a storeman who pleaded guilty, it's still enough time for 20 grands worth of gear without him having to be a grass, isn''t it?
