Is this the same Eric Molina who was stopped in a round by Chris Arreola three years ago?

Arreola would be a weak opponent. Fighting Molina would suggest Wilder's team have no confidence in him.

But I thought Haymon was the savior of boxing? Surely he'd ensure the debut of his "heavyweight champion" would be against someone with a pulse . .

He has to be the worst "contender" I have ever seen. His opponent looked like he had leprosy, which didn't add much to my viewing pleasure.

Cunningham, and younger versions fo Chambers and The Tiger would have schooled the limited Brewster.

They definitely know. Molina will not see the second round. He's already been knocked out twice in the first round.

I guess someone like FOURTY THREE year old Tony Thompson is just asking too much

Are you serious??

All of them except for perhaps Rahman were better than Molina, who couldn't last one round against his only top twenty opponent, and two of them (Leapai and Austin) were mandatories while another (Rahman) was a very-late replacement for Alexander Povetkin, who pulled out shortly before he was supposed to fight Wlad.

By the way, an even older Austin was ahead 6-3 on a pair of cards going into the 10th round against Stiverne, who is probably Wilder's best opponent.

Grabimere Clinchko didnt know what to do with a fighter that could HALFWAY box and move like Jennings---how was he supposed to clinch and lean on him ??

He prefers bums like kubrat and leapai who stood right in front of him so he could tee off-----then lean on them and clinch and hold.
