True. There are lots of fighters who are brilliant at defense. I suppose my gist of this thread was fighters who MAINLY FOCUS ON DEFENSE.

I feel that Floyd had the punch & chin to have been fantastic at most styles but he's chosen safety first & fair play to the lad. Not great to watch but good for him.

I don't feel he deserves to be mentioned anywhere in the best ever fighter chat but he's one of the best ever defensive fighters.

In my humble opinion.

Most people mention Archie Moore and his KO record but his DEFENCE kept him in the game when most had exited long ago I think HOPKINS
got the drift too He must be mentioned too in the same breath has the OLD MONGOOSE for his ability to make opponent's catch anything but his chin they mostly caught thin-air/shoulder's/harm's...............leg's only joking and SWEAT PEA was the modern day BEST until TBE came along.
