LOL to both guys ducking Tito who wasn't even at WW by the time they both moved up there. Keith Thurman got somewhat exposed by Guerrero (who Floyd beat easily).TonyP wrote:Kieth Thurman can beat any welterweight He is a true welter weight that has no kryptonite ,he world class hand speed and devastating power in both hands, and is fleet afoot in either direction and has boxing IQ , He can fight in the pocket or box outside the pocket, He has no trouble with southpaws 5-0 Keith Thurman has Floored ALL but 1 professional his opponents , 5 by shots to the body leading to stoppages Kieth Thurman and Felix Trinidad are the MOST feared and ducked welter weights in the last 25 years of boxing
Floyd Mayweather Jr can not fight in the pocket with any consistency, Manny Pacquaio can only fight in the pocket both ducked Felix Trinidad who was in their era only Oscar De La Hoya had the courage to fight him but lost to Tito, just like they are allowed to cherry pick and duck the mandatory ( true WBA welter weight Keith Thurman champ ) Amir Khan can NEVER fight in the pocket in the welterweight class, and has no true welterweight resume to speak of . Kell Brook is a true welter weight but has not fought more than 1 world class ranked true welter weight
Thurman's best comp thus far was Bundu in terms of skills and I thought he did well but nothing in that fight gave me an indication that he would beat Floyd, Bundu is shorter, slower and less effective than Floyd, and beating Soto-Karass (who is no more than a crude Brawler) isn't exactly a good barometer to measure how well he'd do vs Mayweather and for that matter neither is a burned out Julio Diaz.
We all know that Manny is no inside fighter at all so you making the claim that he can fight in the pocket is as laughable as Floyd and Manny ducking Trinidad.
